Questions about Autolink.

Hi, i have 2 question about Autolink.

 

 

 

When you add a modded costume or a nude mod to a slot with the details option, the original details of the slot are not available anymore.

 

Is there a way to avoid that ?

 

&

 

Is there a place where i can find all the original hairs (tmc/tmcl) for all the characters ?

Hello,

 

No there are no way to keep the details with AutoLink, this is the main function of this tool to make mods working.

 

About TMC and TMCL you can extract them from any .bin files with Archive Tool or Ink_Reshuffle, hair are inside with costumes and else.

Hum when I want a different hairstyle for a mod I must duplicate the costume.tmc - tmcl and add the other hair I want with the same name mod.

 

I tried to rename a hair as hair.001 but it didn't worked for me so I'm not sure if we can add multiple hairstyle for just one mod without duplicating.

Oh, sry, you replied right after i've figured out and deleted my post.  :blush:

 

Just one last thing, there is no way to add hairstyles to officials or modded costume, that you can choose in the game with the hairs option ?

 

The only way is with autolink & with details option right ?

You can actually replace a hairstyle on original or modded costume but with Archive Tool or Ink_Reshuffle method.

 

You have to swap the hair.tmc & tmcl for your desired character directly into the Chara_common.bin and you'll have the hair permanent in your game (until you remove it yourself) but it will only replace the hairstyle, not add an other one.

At least it's useful for some useless hairstyle or one you don't like.

No problem, your welcome ;)

 

Personally I'm not using Ink_Reshuffle so my help stop here about this tool but there are nothing difficult, just opening the .bin file and swap the tmc and tmcl with your desired hair nothing else ;)

 

If I remember well Ink_Reshuffle need a dll to add (provided with the tool) to your doa folder to work, and if you use Sweetfx it may make conflict if you don't rename one of these dll.

In another side, Archive Tool is more simple, open, do your thing and tadam!

Is it possible has lnk reshufle and autolink installed both and can I use any of them?? Is it work?

Yes its possible and work fine for me. Just rename dinput8.dll of lnk reshuffle to be lnk_reshuffle.dll and place on your doa5lr game folder.
