Bustie Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 TL;DR Help extracting Racemenu created body .nif for use in 3ds Max 2015 Basically, I want to extract a body I've created in game with Racemenu CBBE sliders and XMPSE skeleton. I can't recreate it in Bodyslide because the sliders aren't as exaggerated as they are in game and also because of the edits to the skeleton in Racemenu. This is all so I can make custom armors for this specific custom body type that I want to release. As soon as I make enough armors and stuff. Is this even possible? I know we can extract other meshes from in game but for what ever reason I can't find the custom body. Here's where I've looked; through the Skyrim meshes BSA and Racemenu BSA and came up short. There were female body meshes in the Skyrim BSA but not the custom one. And I looked at the body meshes in BodySlide, nothing. I'm stumped. If this can't be done, then how can I create a completly new body outside of Bodyslide? Thank you.
Ventus2111 Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 As far as I know, it's impossible. The only thing you can import from RaceMenu is the character preset. This preset does come with saved CBBE Bodyslide RaceMenu sliders, but not a .nif file or something similar. The saved sliders are only the sliders, not the whole body. If you would create a different body with the Bodyslide program and load up the preset, it would load up the CBBE RaceMenu sliders and apply them to your new body, resulting in a totally different body than you wanted to. Recreating the body is your only option. Sorry if you don't understand what I mean, I'm not a Native speaker.
Akzyra Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Only the head is exportable. You can type values lower than 0 and higher than 100 in BodySlide. Save that as a preset? As for skeleton sliders, can't you import the skeleton and body in 3dsmax, then change skeleton data? As it is weighted, it should affect the body. But why even the hassle? If you make the armour BodySlide compatible, it should work with your CBBE slider settings and Skeleton Sliders when weighted correctly. Anyone with more info regarding BS2 and conversions feel free to correct me.
Bustie Posted October 22, 2016 Author Posted October 22, 2016 Akzyra, you're right. I should just make the armor body weight slide-able. Can't believe that slipped my mind lol Also Ventus your English is great I fully understood you. Thanks everyone!
