Armor Conversion. Need A Friendly Advice

The towel I found on a NET got me badly inspired. I can't leave it without being adapted to one of those nude male body versions.

I dare hope there's a couple of human souls could not stay indifferent when looking at this:

As one can see in the latter picture, the towel needs correction in 3D editor. I am able to exicute import/export. But... there's one but: I can not achieve weight slider working after model exported back to NifSkope. Something wrong with bones, or skin partitions. I can't figure and handle it. Once I have an expert ready to help, I'll provide NifSkope and Blender screens to get the situation clear.

I'm intending to deal with converting, want to release a half- downwaist-nude line for my sweet Skyrim males. Alas, all that armor stuff requires editing.

Search "Mesh Rigger" here on LL. It is a weight painting tool created by Gerra6 here on LL ( it works with Fallout 3, NV, Oblivion, and Skyrim mesh/nif's formats and skeletons... was never updated to work with FO4 though).

Read up on it as it is a gui window interface without any 3d rendering of the models.... but it will get the weight painting of the towel set up correctly to the body's skeleton)... If you want it do have HDT... well that will take more work and an understanding of either HDT PE or HDT SMP.

Also for weight Sliders to work in game you need the item in both a small (_0.nif) and large (_1.nif) mesh setup that share the same mesh in those 2 shapes.

You can create the 2 via Bodyslide using the SAM Reference in Outfit Studio (create the male body with 0 weight wrist. ankle, and neck seams as well as the 1 weight wrist, ankle, and neck seams). It can be used even if you are using the SOS body instead of SAM. Just make sure the seams are in the correct location for the high and low shapes.

You'll need to look for that add-on to bodyslide via google (cause it is on a different web site).

Or you could load the SOS _0.nif body into Outfit Studio, export the shape as an object. Then load the SOS _1.nif (malebody_1.nif) as the reference, create a new slider and import the object file from the _0 as the slider data.... but that is more into creating stuff in OS/Bodyslide).
