gregathit Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Get rid of UOP. That is completely redundant, as OOO fixes all of that an much more. Try deleting your oblivion.ini (the one in your My Documents\my games\oblivion folder. Then run the launcher and get to the title screen so Oblivion will generate a new one. If you can then see to play, then reinstall Darn.

gregathit Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Your choice. It doesn't change the story line, it just fixes and enhances it, plus adds/reworks a lot of the armor/clothes and so on. Personally, I would not play Oblivion without OOO and better cities installed.

I wouldn't recommend doing that due to the fact that UOP does fix more bugs then OOO will ever catch. What I would do if I were the OP was to make sure to use the latest UOP and OOO instead of messing around with these mods. @OP: Also, how did you install the Darnified UI mod, was it with OBMM or was it with Wrye Bash? Personally, I prefer to use OBMM-Ext for any DarN UI mod despite for abandoned OBMM over 5 years ago and now I only use this DarN UI mod.
gregathit Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 I've NEVER used UOP in any form what-so-ever. Completed EVERY quest in the game with zero issues. You DON'T need it with OOO. It even says this on the OOO page.......or used to when Obscuro was the one actually doing the mod. Why install something if it is redundant? That is just a waste. As for Darn - I use the darkUI version. That has always worked for me.

gregathit Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Of course it does. Uninstalling things isn't going to fix anything. You are going to need to reinstall DARN at the bare minimum. May even need to reinstall the whole game. Be damn sure to start a new game! DON'T try to use an existing saved game!
