How to get mods to work?

So, I'm trying to get gay mods in Fallout 4... and no matter what I do, they still do not install properly onto Nexus Mod Manager...

Is there something wrong I'm doing?

Ever heard of Mod Organizer and Tools like LOOT? If not, you should give it a try. MO is availlable at nexus, LOOT has it´s own site. I recommend Gopher´s videos, he explains things very nice and easy to follow.

 

This may not the reason for your problems, but to start with better tools can be a first step to find the problems.

Not typically my kind of mods, these "gay mods" as you say, but i will just point out that you posted about FO4 in skyrim sexlab section... a little bit of a crossed wire.

That aside, what gay mods are you even talking about?

There really isnt that many mods for FO4 yet, let alone things that could be lumped together into a so called "gay mod".
