Question Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 I'm confused because the results i see ingame do not match the screenshots on the mods pages. For example, i just installed this : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14569/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D14569%26preview%3D&pUp=1 When installing, i selected to overwrite everything so the textures should take priority. But the faces ingame do not match what i see for the nord screenshots on the mod's page (see the pic i attached). Am i missing something here?

Yeah m8, the mod you use modify only the face texture, not the headmesh shape. To modify the headmesh, install RANs Headmesh Variants with .tri files from Female Facial Animation on the skyrim nexus. Or you can also try Sanhoshin Beauty Pack(http://www.loverslab.com/topic/6373-sanhoshin-beauty-pack-save-and-companions-cbbe/) it contains headmesh, .tri, body and face textures files. These mods will replace and modify the vanilla headmeshes but it will be not the same as the Univision Face heads. And also if you want some racemenu presets for a good start for a head (i see in your screenshot the RaceMenu interface) you can go here: -http://www.loverslab.com/topic/36607-share-your-racemenu-preset-slot-file/
Question Posted September 8, 2016 Author Posted September 8, 2016 So that mod used screenshots that couldnt be achieved with just that mod alone? Thats like...false advertising. Its not mentioned in the mod description either.
lewd123 Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 So that mod used screenshots that couldnt be achieved with just that mod alone? Thats like...false advertising. Its not mentioned in the mod description either. Well theoretically you could manually edit for hours in ECE to achieve that look, which that mod does mention, but I doubt that's what they did. So you're probably right.
MilkyTabboo Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Lighting and ENB affects how you characters look. No texture mods will look exactly the same :>
fernandojdb Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 as they say, you have to consider a lot of things to make your character look like the ones in mods. body/face textures ENB and the right source of light modified head meshes racemenu / ECE to modify / import the head mesh face tint, that define the area and the fade effect of makeup , and modify skse.ini to enable 2048 res tint [Display] iTintTextureResolution=2048
