DMX666 Posted October 19, 2025 Posted October 19, 2025 I recently made a mod on request and in the process there was such an error that the mesh seemed to fall through Mai's body when she stands in this position. I tried other models, but the error remains. This has never happened before.

Collisions in the bones, that sort of thing is the recurrent nightmare that I usually encounter at adapting several types of costumes, sometimes I managed to solve it, sometimes I don't and I modify the clothes to hide as best I can. Try TMC Bone Tool, use a default costume from Mai to your modified costume, but be aware that you probably may fix that especific issue but you may end up making another collision issue on another part of the costume and maybe for another accessory. 1

Would be nice to also have that custom hair mod for her as well! 🦋🥷 I just hope it doesn't overload the tmc file limit, I tried some files from Stellar Blade and my god, I need to do more tests on blender to see if the size or at least the number of vertices could be reduced for the model to be used in doa5, but the quality may get affected by that, and for the ninja gaiden too, that hairstyle and costume looks like it has more way vertices than the models from doa6. 1

Thank you. I did not tamper the file. simply extracted the autolink3.30 file and pasted it into the DOA game. The costume includes a 2nd variations with transparent clothes, no NSFW like breasts or nudity on them. As for Mai, since the costume has so many parts and textures, adapting the costume for Mai under the 6.7MB limit could work but the quality of the textures could affect how the mod looks on game.
