Blackstar9191 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 please help! i have installed skyrim but i installed it uncorrectly.My english is bad but i still can understand whatever you say.i tried to uninstal it but i didnt find skyrim folder on program add/remove to uninstall.how can i uninstall it from my computer?

majormagers Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 the skyrim directory is located in ...steam/steamapps/common/skyrim if you installed it with steam.as a note i found it is good to install steam to the c drive directly for some games. also using Mod Organizer helps save your data files from being messed up so you don't have to reinstall all the time. using the steam workshop is bad as it wont always uninstall the mods from the data files.

majormagers Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 How did you buy it without steam or a CD?  If you still need to buy it get it from steam with all the DLCs then you will get the new one when it comes out.

majormagers Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 do a search for skyrim on your hard drive.  1. go to my computer  2. use the search box to find skyrim  3. wait for a long time  4. find out what one is the right one (should have data folder and the exe in it.)  5. delete it  6. buy the game now that you know it works on your computer. (it will probably work better than the cracked one)
