Synopsis

 

L.E.W.D. is an action/adventure exploration game where the player takes a role as Lainie who is trapped in her dream world. Help Lainie find a way out by solving puzzles and defeating enemies in her perverted dream world. There are secrets to find and other areas to explore. There will be a variety of fetishes to see as well as CGs/animations to collect. 

 

Development

 

As far as development goes, the game is made with Game Maker Studio (shout out for ANoob for creating the game framework). I provided all the art and animation. We're hopefully aiming to add more content into the game and polish some bugs out, but we're looking for some feedback to make a good H-game for you all to enjoy. Gameplay wise, I took inspirations from the 2D Legend of Zelda games and Super Mario World 64. Other inspirations I took theme wise are other games (Kirby, Earthbound), cartoons, and anime.

Right now there's not a lot of gameplay, but I figure that the team will release a prototype to show you all how the game will play like as well as show how it looks so far. My team and I just want to get some feedback to see what we can add to/fix in the game. You can download the prototype by clicking the link below:

We're Recruiting!

 

The team is looking for a few more people to help out with the game's development. Right now we spent some of our free time in developing a prototype, but we do plan on working on this game full-time and compensate team members if there's support to do so from the players. Here are the current members so far for this project:

 

(Noox) Artist/Designer - pretty much I made all the graphics and animation. I even drew the picture on this thread. You can see some of my animation I posted on this thread.

 

(Anoob) Programmer - this guy is a pretty fast coder and a whiz at working in GM Studio and Unity; very hard working and a cool guy to collab with  

 

 

Here are the positions available:

 

Artist - helps assist the lead artist with art assets, animations, CGs, and/or promo art [need 2]

Level Designer - must know how to work in GM Studio to set up rooms and design maps [need 1]

Programmer - must know how to work in GM Studio and assist the lead programmer with fixing bugs and/or help implement game features [need 1]

Sure, if incest is your thing feel free to suggest it and put it on the fetish list. You can find the list by clicking on the link that directs to the list. Also right now the game is a prototype (it's playable though). I'm working with a programmer to get a solid demo out within the coming month of September or early October. Also the image is visible now.

Neat little idea for a 4mb download... It desperately needs a fullscreen mode though. I've just got a budget 1440p 27" and that window is smaaaall. Even on my old 1080p 23" there's a whole lot of unused real estate, which for me makes games unplayable (just like RPG Maker titles that won't stretch).

 

I did run around for a couple of minutes, got caught and raped by blue bears but couldn't find anything interactive. Is that about the state of things at the moment?

ah i see, you fill it in yourself. and the image is still not viewable for me, looks like i have that issue where images dont show up unless you get a specific plugin, darn looks like i need to search he abyssal forums for the solution again.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I will talk to my programmer buddy about creating settings to adjust the game's screen resolution. This will be on the bucketlist for sure. Yes, this is just a playable prototype...very bare bones at the moment, but we'll try to get a solid playable demo that has features of a typical action/adventure game.

Yeah, the list is for us to look at when considering what fetishes to implement. There's no promise that all suggestions will be fulfilled, but then again some suggestions end up similar. I want to give people a chance to provide feedback...plus the game's theme is about perverted dreams, so it's suitable to at least fulfill the kinks some people suggested.

It might be easier to figure out if anything else works if there were any kind of information on what is supposed to work...

Hey man, I downloaded the game but my AV freaked out (Panda AV btw), I know a lot of gamemaker games have this problem, but I thought it would be nice for you to know.
