does anyone know how to get around the "Data Swapping Error" that occurs when trying to swap a TMCMesh that's been edited in Blender.

I want to remove Lisa's earrings from this costume

post-806593-0-64601600-1471112706_thumb.png

using just the delete option on LR will delete the rest of the objects as well, which are the buttons, the pen, part of the watch and some stuff on the shoes.

I extracted the mesh and edited it in Blender, deleting the earrings, but when I click on the "swap for tmcmesh" option and insert the edited mesh I get the error

Why her earrings when you can remove something better. :P

Yeah I know that, the reason I wanted to remove the earrings is because when ABC transforming this costume for Christie the earrings aren't aligned to her ears

If you have access to blender to modify the meshes, it should be relatively easy to move earrings into their positions by importing Christie's face model as reference.  Also, with TMC Polygon Insert tool, you can choose to replace mesh objects with your tmcmesh parts as opposed to adding it to the mesh object.

However, it appears that earrings are already in their correct positions without even using my "approximate accessory positions" functionality here  - transformation with default transformation options of 30 smoothness result is shown below.

Glasses are a bit off, but she looks much more awesome with her default shades anyway :D

I was using blender, tried putting the edited mesh back in using LR and got a "data swapping error". I tried using TMC polygon insert tool, looked normal while viewing the model in LR but once I placed it in the game the bottom button on the coat was missing, but after some pan, rotate and zoom I saw it, it was behind the coat.

Thanks by the way your tool worked and bottom button on the coat is in the right spot

I edited that white zipper mesh, removing all the extra objects that are part of it, tried putting it back into the TMC using LR, error

I tried inserting the edited mesh using TMC polygon insert tool and I got this

looks normal here

even deleting the certain mesh parts using the VertexID method doesn't work, do you know what that is

Is that the gap between the zipper seam that's bothering you?? It's good you managed to restore the zipper as it's connected to that darn micro mini of hers.

I have a similar problem with Ayane's school girl uniform without the vest, I used a full body mesh but between her shirt and skirt at the hips, there's like a see thru part through her belly.

So when you add objects to a nude full body mesh, do you just place them on top of the body mesh in Blender and that's it. What about the textures for those objects?

I found out what the problem was with that huge gap on her chest next to the gray zipper thing. While checking the vertex groups on the Zipper mesh I noticed that the area where the gap is was assigned to MOT00_hips, also OPT_Breast_*3.1.L was missing, so I just renamed MOT00_hips to OPT_Breast_*3.1.L and it fixed it. No more gap.
