darkkaplah Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 I have quite a few mods from this community and I've been finding in the last month or so I can't play the game for more than a few minutes without CTD-ing. I'm not sure which mod, or combination of mods is causing the issue so I'm going to have to rely on some community help. I'm seeing a few different varieties of CTD. 1) Entering random buildings or cities will cause CTD 2) Entering cities, or teleporting to cities will cause CTD 3) Walking area to area will cause CTD, or worse a wierd two frame loop where I get two frames of video looping at me but I can still hear the caracters interacting in the background as I use my controller (ie. draw my weapons, talk to characters if I am near one, etc). 3a) Interesting side note. If I run into the two frame issue, alt tab out, then alt tab back in that will sometimes fix this issue temporarily. I will encounter it again. Here's what I have: I've attached my papyrus log. I realize most people hate this but some ask for it. I've attached a LOOT log showing all messages Loot gives me. Let me know if you need more information. I'm also having issues with clipping. My camera when in third person mode will clip through the environment and behind buildings. This just started again today. I had this issue before but started a new game and that corrected it. I'm now seeing the issue with old saves and new games. I'm thinking it's a issue with "Customizeable Camera" as I kept hitting "G" to trigger the Defeat mod, but that was also the customizeable camera mod trigger. I tried uninstalling it, using steam to restore Skyrim to default, and starting a new game but this issue still remains. Any ideas here? I'm also having issues with clipping. Nasseliten Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Your running too many unknown mods for me to help with load order. Since I'm not sure how experienced you are with modding I just wanna ask: 1:did you clean master files? 2. Are you using Crash fixes / bug fixes? 3. did you tweak you ini configuration / papyrus settings ? UFO, this one can cause problems with some mods. It's also way old. Id recomend using aft or eft instead. Personally ive never had any luck running RaceCompatibility.esm It will cause my game to crash all the time, but thats most likely because im running a requiem setup. have you ever used Save game script cleaner? (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/?) you can check for orphaned scripts. It's a long shot but thats all I got.
Arthacs Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Just a few notes: -SMIM may be a issue, specially if you have no memory boost.. -SDpatch - frostfall.esp and no frostfall ? - did you use LOOT to sort your list?
HiMyNameIsMarnicq Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 i hope this is the right topic for me to post this on... i recently installed a couple of mods from this site, stuff like SexLab and Devious Devices. i came across a couple of problems though . i ran FNIS and installed the created file's, but when i enter my game animations like wearing a yoke or an armbinder make my character form a t-pose. this is not only the case with DD but also with a couple of other mods, even the animations that you can choose by installing the 'spells add-on' for FNIS make my character t-pose. i have tried updating FNIS over and over again, but sadly no success . it looks like FNIS doesn't see the mods an thus doesn't enable the required animations for those mods to work properly (at least i think that this is the case). does anyone have a clue on how to fix this?

Arthacs, SMIM was downloaded with Signs of Skyrim. I'm about to try removing that to see if there is an effect. What do you mean by "Memory Boost". Is there a good boost mod out there? I thought he 4gb limit was taken care of in a official skyrim patch. I'm running a windows 10 x64 install on a 16gb machine with an AMD 7790 1gb card. I do wonder if I'm hitting some memory wall as I do occasionally see purple textures appear on armors after a teleport. SDpatch - frostfall.esp was disabled after you pointed it out. Nasseliten Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 You must clean you master files again Update.esm dawnguard.esm, heartfire.esm and dragonborn.esm Do NOT replace them with default files. This can and will most likely cause major issues with your game. So Re Clean your files. Go and install http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72725/? (crash fixes) and http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76747/? (bug fixes) Even if they don't fix your problem you absolutely have to do this!! Also do this http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69787/? It will fix your ini files (you have to start a new game) And don't worry it's not gonna mess up your ini files. the improvements are MASSIVE. All of this (except maybe bethini) is mandatory to have stable game. Even if it does not fix your problem you need to do this. Good luck, let me know how it goes. i hope this is the right topic for me to post this on... i recently installed a couple of mods from this site, stuff like SexLab and Devious Devices. i came across a couple of problems though . i ran FNIS and installed the created file's, but when i enter my game animations like wearing a yoke or an armbinder make my character form a t-pose. this is not only the case with DD but also with a couple of other mods, even the animations that you can choose by installing the 'spells add-on' for FNIS make my character t-pose. i have tried updating FNIS over and over again, but sadly no success . it looks like FNIS doesn't see the mods an thus doesn't enable the required animations for those mods to work properly (at least i think that this is the case). does anyone have a clue on how to fix this? Don't know for sure, but you have a lot of mods to add NPCs, and those require resources. Make sure you have ENBoost and SKSE patch working and a proper config, and if that doesn't help, i'd uninstall some of those mods. Not sure if one is better or worse than another, imho it's more important to have less NPCs at all than which ones.

I do wonder if I'm hitting some memory wall as I do occasionally see purple textures appear on armors after a teleport. SDpatch - frostfall.esp was disabled after you pointed it out. This had no effect. IT was installed in the new unified installer for the unoficial skyrim patch. Funny thing is I remember unchecking it... I do use LOOT to sort. I used to use NMM. Is there a preferred method? Thank you for your patience and help! Any additional assistance would be appreciated. Don't know for sure, but you have a lot of mods to add NPCs, and those require resources. Make sure you have ENBoost and SKSE patch working and a proper config, and if that doesn't help, i'd uninstall some of those mods. Not sure if one is better or worse than another, imho it's more important to have less NPCs at all than which ones. thanks for the reply, but my problem is fixed (thankfully), the solution is found here
darkkaplah Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 Nazzzgul666 NAzzzgul666 actually had the answer that worked for me. I've not modified the base source files. Not sure if I will as while some people recommend it others recommend against it. I just wanted to get my game working and this seems to be what did it below: ENBoost and ENBSeries (ENBoost requires ENBSeries) solved my issue. I do have to note that getting both was somewhat a PITA. ENBSeries site is a great example of how not to set up a website (go to the base site, click "News" in the center of the page, then click "Downloads" on the bar that should always have been there. Finally pick the version number at the top and the download starts. I should mention nothing on the page looks like a hyperlink. ENBoost has two entries on the Nexus. Make sure you get version 6.1+. If you see 5.0 for download look for the link in the description to go to the new version. Installing ENBSeries was done with instructions on the ENBoost 5.0 site (seriously guys... don't refer to your old site. Just copy over the instructions to the new one!) You can't install with MO or NMM. Open ENBSeries in you zip application, then browse into the "WrapperVersion" folder. Extract everything in here into your Skyrim install directory overwriting as necessary. Then open the ENBoost 6.1+ zip. There are two enbseries.ini files in there. I used the one for less studdering. Extract that file overwriting the one in the Skyrim install directory. You may need to modify Skyrimprefs.ini in your "My Games\Skyrim" path. Make sure that the following is set: bFloatPointRenderTarget=1 Save all and start skyrim! This worked for me. I have some graphical issues such as lowered performance that I need to work out, but I'm running! Thank you for the assist.
