varenne Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 This is a purely Japanese to English machine code translation and will require testing and additional editing by those willing to do so. This is not as we say in development, 'production ready'. What was translated: 1. All readme files 2. Book xLSTSlaveTradeManual 3. Items, MiscItem, Clutter xLSTRegister xLSTSlavePack Note: The readme files are saved as Unicode to preserve the original Japanese machine code and the converted Shift-JIS encoding. Structure of any readmes I convert is as follows: 1. Top most section - English translation 2. Center section - Shift-JIS 3. Bottom most section - Original Japanese machine code Important Note I did not translate LoversSlaveTrader or LSTBravilUnderground as it was mentioned in this thread by gregahit that HanPL talked about translating these two. If and when that is completed I can revisit this mod to look for any dialogue that may have been added or altered by this mod and not the other two. Otherwise it is much like looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack and much too time consuming. EDIT & UPDATE: Attached file removed use LoversPayBandit 1.4.7 English instead.
varenne Posted June 1, 2012 Author Posted June 1, 2012 There is V1.4 out on wiki.livedoor.jp Yeah, it was uploaded only 3 days ago and I downloaded the version I translated 4 or 5 days ago and only got around to translating today. Shouldn't be that much of a difference but I'll check it when I have a chance. EDIT: No, it is a bit of a change as in it's back to the prior esp name; LoversPayBandit.esp vs. LoversPayBanditForSlaver.esp I'd like to wait and see if HanPL translates LoversSlaveTrader and then revisit this for any new dialogue needing translation too, sort of a semi-coordinated effort.

[/quote'] HanPL is in final touch-up of slave trader so you should be seeing it soon and he has just started on bravil underground. NOTE: version 9 of bravil underground (the latest one that came out a couple of days ago) is going to be a HUGE effort! The mod has more than doubled in the number of books/dialogue/NPC's/places and other things to translate. Long story short.....bravil underground will take a while to be ready!!!

This mod or the one we all will eventually have, LoversPaybandit only had a dependency on SlaveTrader and not on BravilUnderground, as far as I know from reviewing and translating the previous version this morning. If HanPL needs help translating BravilUnderground he can PM me and we can split up the work if he'd like, to help move it forward quicker and lighten the load on him. Are there any others in need of translating at this time? I still cannot access HiyokoQuestTarget ver. 0.2 from wiki.live.jp, (it points to loda.jp which I think is not being maintained) is there another location to download from?
gregathit Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Varenne, if you are a glutton for punishment you can try your hand at any of these that are not already in the DL section: http://www.4shared.com/dir/NaHTfIRF/Mod_for_Oblivion.html#dir=134125545 Don't burn yourself out however!!!!!! Edit: Yea, the Hquesttarget link isn't working for now. I am sure they will get around to fixing it sooner or later.

[/quote'] Well, my ranting in one of my other posts about the tedious nature of translating led to a PM from a member and discovery of something called Egg Translator. I've already downloaded it and will see how well this works.
