jcanopub Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Hi, I saw that papyrus is a required mod for Serialstripper mod. As this doesn't work ( skyrim begin to start...and close immediatly) I have rename Serialstripper.esp in my data folder. I have a question about the SKSE folder in the papyrus mod . Do I have to copy the SKSE folder in the data directory of skyrim ? WHere I have to put this folder ( or the StorageUtil.dll included on it ? thanks
ButchDiavolo Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Hey Jcanopub, Papyrus is the game engine of Skyrim, so it is not a mod. SKSE is also not a mod persé, but a resource that extends the possibilities of the Papyrus engine of the game. Most mods require SKSE in order to work. As for installing SKSE, that depends on what mod manager you use. If you use NMM, you install it as an ordinary mod (I think, I don't use NMM). If you use ModOrganizer, you open the SKSE file you downloaded and copy&paste all the .exe and .dll files (and ONLY those!) in to the official Skyrim directory (NOT the slyrim/data directory) and then install the scripts as an ordinary mod. If you install mods manually (which really you shouldn't do), you place all the files and the scripts-folder from the SKSE file into the Skyrim directory (again, NOT in skyrim/data) Hope this helps
Dragonjoe69 Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 You have to handle it verwee gently by loving it and nurturing it till it grows , then you snap it's fucking neck before it fucks you over and turns your game into minecraft
