dwjlien Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Everythings works well enough, but I'm very confused about whether I'm registering animations correctly, SL FAQ didn't say much. I have the following mods: Necro Anims, Funny Buziness, NSAP, Sex Lab, Sex Lab Solutions, Sex Lab Animation Loader, ZAZ Animation Pack. Do I just go into each MCM menu and click on and register, or do I then (or prior) need to do something in Sex Lab to register them or build them, whatever that means? Many thanks.
Orpheaned Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Me, i'm install SexLab full (classic and creatures animations), after i install the SLAL animation. It's working good for me.
spoonsinger Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 For me:- Click all Anpack animations, (you probably don't have this) I generally ignore NSAP because I have a save profile for that, (although if you don't you probably want to click animations at this point - then save your profile). (*) At this point I generally load my SOS profile, and set my equipment appropriately. (This might be controversial, but as I rejigged the SOS code for my benefit, it works for me) Then scroll down to Sexlab then initialise it, (wait), then go back to Sexlab and configure it, (or just load a saved profile). Then scroll down to SLAL animations and click the select all animations option, then click the register option. Wait for the dialog to pop up. (it can take a bit of time). Finally scroll down to ZAZ and click it's register with Sexlab option.

majorfreak Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 some talk about how going into sexlab after registering and clicking 'reset animation registry'...which seems counter-intuitive, but the maker of more nasty critters definitely instructs doing it this way, as does at least one other reputable mod author. the way i now, and there's been a few iterations, proceed ingame is: enable sexlab in MCM exit menu wait for messages enable sexlab creature animations (if you have supporting mods like MNC) exit menu wait for message (re)register animations in appropriate MCM menus (like mnc, zaz, SLanim loader, etc) reset animation registry in sexlab and i assume apropos sexlab animation patchups is last? i'll ask now, i'm not really sure about #6 being done as a finalization thing at the end of ALL registering, but i'm guessing this is correct

I really dont understand this process.
majorfreak Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 actually, that sequence above i was testing. apparently it buggered up my creature animations for some wierd reason (dunno why, not a modder) so i went back to my original sequence (which fixed things just perfect) For those of you having difficulties, this is the sequence - btw, i'm no longer going by the mod author's exact red text instructions on how to get it working: enable sexlab in MCM* exit menu wait for messages enable sexlab creature animations (if you have supporting mods like MNC) exit menu wait for message [you can skip steps 5 & 6 at first; you only need them for troubleshooting*] reset animation registry in sexlab re-register animations in creature framework* register all other animations (SL anim loader, ZazAnimations, NSAP, Estrus+) i have no idea about patchups for apropos (it might be the same as 'registering' but i shouldn't assume) *make sure they all say "OK" (if some are ?? try zooming out to 3rd person and back in your new character)If it's something other than ok or ?? then it's probably FNIS generator, install order or load order...in that order of probability *The mod's author has made contradictory statements as to whether re-register is supposed to be before or after reset (5&6), and upon researching all 280 pages of his support topic i can say unequivocally that he meant to say "And dont forget the usual: Reset Animation Registry in SL and Re register all Mods in Creature Framework!!!" * I myself have started a new game and skipped steps 5 & 6, enabled defeat mod, went up to a wolf and surrendered: both erect penis and animation played flawlessly I also made a number of screenshots to illustrate Why do i believe this sequence is a necessity? look at what happens if you switch steps 5 and 7. you will not only lose animations (you'll see it in the right pane of the last page of sexlab) but you will also see that the register in zaz's MCM is no longer grayed out. not good.
