I've always said Nintendo has pretty much fkd up an entire generation of Japanese and I just don't get the whole hentai craze. Well now I have seen something that just scares the heck out of me. Hentai rock stars.LIVE and on stage! Well if nothing else it makes some of the stuff a Disneyland seems less creepy.

This issue is quite sensitive in far east Countries, since there are a lot of crazy fans here, you know. Now that this website is more "western" I guess it's safer to have a opinion about this "fictitious" idol here. Yes, IMO it is weird, and I don't understand why some people like synthetic voice and even spent money for a live show like that?

However 'Seinen' category are more acceptable and educating, Makes a very hard reading than shonen, (if not overly dramatics). Sex may involved, tough psychology & social consequences usually follows which can lead into a successful adult life or teen suicides.

Well my apologies, and you are correct I have no concept of what Hentai is but thanks for the education. I actually spent some time chasing down this phenomenom, watching a lot of videos in japanese(not that I speak much japanese) and was blown away even further, not just by the tech but by how seriously a good portion of asian society takes this one particular media creator. After a while I had to stop watching this stuff as I was starting to see the appeal, and that just won't do for a conservative western white male nearing 50 lol. Although my original post was meant to come across as somewhat sacastic, I actually just wanted to point out the cool tech.

So just to be clear, what is this style of media called anyway?
