Mods for adec body

First and foremost I would like to thank acdale for the best body mod in skyrim. Simply amazing.

 

This thread is about showing that a few mods work for the adec body that were not specifically designed to. I made a request thread a few weeks back looking for someone to make a new hairy pubic hair option, but no one seemed very interested. So I took matters into my own hands and came up with the look I was going for. See the pics below.

The mod I used:

I used gimp to simply copy and paste the texture onto the BLAM body texture, and position it where I wanted it. I don't know why but I love the hair peeking out look, so lewd. If anyone expresses interest I will see if I can figure out how to upload it for those that want it.

 

The cbbe pubic hair option mod linked above is designed to work with calientes texture blender for the cbbe body found here:http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=5737

 

The texture blender also works with the adec body as well, and you can use it to set the pubic hair mod linked above onto your adec body of choice. The hair will be set a bit lower than in the screen shots above.

The position is barely off, and is not noticeable unless you are specifically looking to see that it is off. Even if it bugs you, you can just use one of the internal eggs since they can be enchanted too. The strap-on harnesses don't fit with the adec body, sadly.

I think it looks amazing. There is one slight problem that causes me to not be able to use it. See third pic below. A strange seam line appears on my favorite part of the body (the ass) and that just will not do. Hopefully a talented, intelligent, amazing humanitarian will convert this to work properly for the adec body with the BLAM nipples. (Pretty please?)

If you are referring to the the bbp pack for the cbbe3m body, no I don't think they would work. I think what would happen is you could equip the armors and it would morph your adec body to look like the 3m body while wearing them. Once you took the armor off you would morph back to the adec body. Not sure on that though as I have not tried the bbp pack.

There is a good chance it will. I was using a CHSHBC clothing mod along side my adec mod and people ended up having pubic hair on the back of their necks. I would not recommend trying to use both.

First off I think the ass issue with the textures is due to the UV mapping of ADEC. I could take a look at it. I'm sure all that has to be done is re-uv map the new tex to fit adec properly.

 

Don't forget that ADEC is not a CBBE variant, and was built ground up from HGEC by Acdale. CHSBHC for instance is a CBBE variant (though heavily modified by cherry), but still uses a very similar UV mapping. Which is why most CBBE textures work on it (except the nipples of course..again probably UV mapping lol).

 

I myself am a huge fan of the sunburn mod, and need to get around to properly fitting it to ADEC (since I have made my own custom armors for ADEC body lol..like ebony mail). I'm still waiting to host my darn file on the nexus, but I'm sitting on Mak's approval (got some screenies up though on my account of the armor incase you guys are curious...same user name ;p). I just really wish the author of the sunburn mod would release the photoshop file of his CBBE..like he did it for the UNP. In the file it has ALL the different sunburns, possibly allowing multiple combinations @_@.

Hmm, that's really odd. Let me link you my account, and you should be able to navigate to it by clicking on my skyrim profile which is on the mid left hand side. In terms of the sunburn, I'll start working on that tomorrow. I'm burned out today from ziplining all day, and being drunk from my best friends bday.

Alright, I'm taking a look at the sunburn tex right now. Oddly enough the UV mapping has nothing to do with the ass lines. Its related to the textures. Right now I'm messing with photoshop cs5, to see if I can get rid of the issue causing the line.

 

Hopefully its just the femalebody.dds, and not a _msn or _s file. Though we might be able to use the generic adec _msn and _s because there all based on navetsea's tex, which is what the sunburn author used for his base tex. Only diff is he did UNP and CBBE; so should be only minor diffs.

 

When I'm done testing, I can try to see if I can easily apply it to all the sunburn tex. Keep in mind I'm no pro lol. Typically I do this kind of work for only myself, but if you guys want I don't mind sharing ;p

Alright it looks like its just simply the lower body aka groin, plus the upper thighs that cause it. For some reason I completely missed the fact the author of sunburn put up the photoshop file of his CBBE work...I swore i only found the UNP. Regardless I think I can mimic some of what he did without really altering the adec tex. The more I alter it, the worse it looks IMO lol.

Worst thing about adec is the guy makes what I think are the sexiest leg textures around (especially with the sporty mod) then goes and makes armor mods that cover them up =/

Hmm, so what would you prefer him to do instead? Put nothing or like a strap or two? Just asking, because if you have any ideas I'm sure he'd be open to it. I agree the legs are nice, that's why the ebony mail I made has chain leggings. Not like the chain he did though, mines a bit diff. I agree its best to compliment what looks good, and not hide it lol.

 

Well some bad news on the sunburn stuff. I can easily replicate the decolored nipples, and I've used them on my custom version of Modular drow. I like zazmales drow to, but Modular (once it was made an esp by my friend), was less buggy. Plus I the modular drow can be obsidian black (never seen any darker tint that still shows detail).

 

In regards to the tan lines, here's the problem. If it was just the groin, it wouldn't be as hard. But lol these tex pros have a VERY small section, like..1% of the upper thigh that wraps on the butt and in the inner groin. I tried to make the sunburn flush with it, but my accuracy is not good enough. I can fix the butt issue no problem, but I didn't realize there's other issues.

 

Such as the massive file for cbbe or unp he released is very odd. It has different looking sunburns applied to the body, and cannot be broken down to what's in his regular textures. All he honestly did was slap an all white overlay layer, at 25-50% opacity. Though he had the overlay layer matching the body flush and perfectly. I cannot replicate his shapes, which is what I was trying to do.

 

It looks like Acdale uses different groin, butt, and upper thigh textures. Not only are they different, but they are textured differently. So the color looks off when you say apply it to a non ADEC tex. Which is what I was trying to do (that way we could all streamline our fav texs).

 

If you guys still want to see what I've made, I can post it..but I think its utter crap compared to what you'd want lol IMO. This is why I praise these modders so much, because trying to work with there stuff to achieve similar results proves just how dam skilled they are.

You talking about the pubic hair? If so I didn't position that lol. That's Acdale's work, and I obviously can't take credit for it. That's the default that comes with ADEC. All I did was apply some sunburn to it. I can upload it, but trust me it doesn't look right. Maybe I'll toy around with it later to see if I can at least get it all flush.

Is it possible for you to release a psd of the sunburn texture so it can be combined with other mods like Aureolean (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=14391)?

You mean the one I was working on? Or you mean from the sunburn mod? The sunburn mod already has the psd out, should be in the optional downloads. Yeah its easily possible to combine them. Though to do every single one with every variation of sunburn would take quite a while lol. I'm not looking to do that much grunt work lol.

Yeah I meant the one you mentioned making but were ultimately unsatisfied with. I don't have any modding skills but combining textures using Calientes' Texture Blender is simple enough for me.

BreakUndies is something we need again, as that actually let us see these beautiful bodies created while we're out adventuring.

I tried to mess with that for hours now. I give. Perhaps if the texture had been applied after all the pulling and stretching but as is I can't get a straight line out of it. From a long distance it might be good but upclose looks like it was painted with a brush on there by a drunk. XD

Was supposed to be bikini lines. I'll share if you like but I'm embarrassed by it to be honest. Hats off to you Acdale! I remember reading all the issues you had getting this right. I have a steep appreciation for the work now.

They have some amazing textures there that is for sure. If only they would be easy to get onto a body you could use in Skyrim. I'm sure the people that are that good get swamped by people like us begging to make that happen! XD

That's actually a very disturbing uv unwrap. It actually looks about like what you'd do if you were going to use the skin for a shirt or bedlinens.

This is what I was working with. The whited layer was to be an easy to select blue to mirror to the other side when I got it right. If the other side was the same LOL. Didn't get that far. Texture is Acdale's work of course.

Once you have it I'll remove it cause it's big and using my space on here of course.

Sorry been lazy lately, and enjoyin the sun lol. I actually made an honest attempt at trying to make a variation of the KOT armor for ADEC, but I got flamed hard. I still have some of the screen shots up on the "Nexus" (big surprise for flamage):

@Monsto - wow hey what's goin on ;p Well if I had an actual good looking texture to release for Acdale I would for sure submit it to him. I actually was talking to him on a regular basis when I was working on my ebony mail. Which I should get around to releasing one of these days.

 

In regards to the texture I posted...LOL..shirt or bed linen! Well that's not my work, that would be all the insane daz3d/poser creators out there who make them for Victoria 4. I can't remember which author that is, I just randomly screen shoted one of the ones I had on hand. If you look up Silvist on dev art, you can see how sexy that tex looks after 8-10 hours of rendering ;p

 

@Madder - You talking to me? If so lol thanks, though your work looks much better than mine (ya i downloaded so you can scrap the link). So your idea was to use the bikini as a basis for the tan? That's pretty easy to manipulate if that's the case...could for sure work. In fact if there's any lingerie or bikini already for adec, or a mod that already includes it...that's probably a good thing to use.

 

I'm for sure no CS5 expert, but with enough toying around I can normally get what I want. I'll give it a shot perhaps tomorrow see what I can come up with.
