First I need to know what I am going to make and what the highlights are from the character:

Mystique is blue, scaly and has red hair and yellow eyes. 

Then I need to know what mods to use, so I go to the nexus and search for the mods I need to make the character look like Mystique. 

It happens so, that there was a mod that adds argonian scales for humans. So I used that.

Most of the mods I already have installed, so I can easally getting started. Because these characters are all from comics or tv and have multiple appearances in movies and so on, I can make the face as random as possible. Still, I was already working on a Jennifer Lawrence Preset. I was close, but with this Mistique look she looks almost identical to the movie version.

 

Poison Ivy her face is all just how I imagined her to look like in Skyrim (just like Harley and Catwoman), just getting the right bodypaint, make-up mods and make her skin green: voila. She looks like Poison Ivy.
