Zaselim Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 So finally i am getting my new build tomorrow finally and if its asked before or told many times but i didnt wanted go through with multiple guides. ofcourse i am gonna be playing my current skyrim with 350+ mods (as its kind of a portable and can be played on any system) but i also want a fresh install and i will be installing Skyrim Legendary Edition. As it been a long time since i have updated the mods i am using or installed new ones and this is the reason i need help. I want my skyrim to look absolute beautiful, i'll be using gtx1080 so I think it doesn't matter if a certain mod is too heavy graphics(textures or meshes wise). So please list me the mods for the fresh installed game to make everything about skyrim gorgeously beautiful (including parallax. simm and npcs), Immersive and everything it needs in load and installing order but first tell me what graphics settings i will have to set. I will be using the same skyrim save folder with all the edited ini settings with the new graphics settings which i will be told here from the launcher. Previously i didn't change the settings other than the resolution. Again i am very sorry If my being asking about it not right and I will really appreciate the help, Thanks.
Nick501 Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Alright, you want Skyrim to look gorgeous and there is really one great mod to recommend for that. It's the "Sharpshooters Graphics". You can get it on nexus here... http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15105/? While your card is very good on certain additions to Skyrim you could end up running into a processor bottleneck if you're running too many mods at the same time, so just be careful of that if your processor isn't very good.
Comrade Isbariya Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Here's a complete guide to start with for a fresh install: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74427/? It has everything covered to start and mod your Skyrim like crazy, focusing on performance and stability especially. If you want SMIM and Parallax, just search the Nexus. They have everything covered up. As for suggestions what texture replacers and mods to use, I find it a bit difficult, as you may have a different taste, so you may want to have a look for stuff yourself. Things I would suggest anyway (most stuff is for immersion though): http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61995/? - nice Textures, even with Parallax. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30904/? - simple but nice Atronach and Spriggan reskin http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/42370/? - Grasses and Groundcovers, adds more diversity to the boring landscape http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/28427/? - Even more grass - denser to be specific http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58091/?- Even more flowerstuff http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1111/? - Pure Waters http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60576/? - Pure Waters - Waterfalls http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60/? - Enhanced Blood http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2692/? - Cinematic Fire Effects http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17802/? - CoT v5 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59809/? - Very nice cloud and fog textures if you're using CoT or Vanilla weather and a fitting ENB http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64941/? - Even more weather, shootingstars, rainbows, meteorshowers, compatible with most weather mods http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25675/? - Lightning! And you can even get hit by it - and it HURTS! Has a patch for either CoT or Vivid Weathers http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33482/? - decent and fully customizable HUD (move, resize and hide/show everything) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51956/? - more information within the HUD without having to pick up stuff first and so on http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73167/? - Populated towns / villages, it's a whole set of mods, you'll have to search for the others yourself http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38529/? - Touring carriages - rather chill while you are driven to your destination than to fasttravel. (I just love it ) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17605/? - Nice mod that adds streetlights, lightsources to everything that's supposed to emit light, adds torches and lights of all kinds to shrines and whatever else. Fully customizable. It just stopped working for me after a few days and lights went crazy. :C http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18916/? Alternatively, adds lanterns to the main roads of Skyrim only. Does have presets to fit with CoT or Vivid Weathers and all kind of patches available. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17406/? - Towns and Villages Enhanced - possibly not the most favored series by the broad masses, but it adds a huge amount of trees and plants and flowers to the once dead cities and villages. (Again, it's a whole set and you'll have to find the others yourself, but afaik they're linked. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64442/? - A decent and great looking village, one of the most beautiful out there. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52583/? - Positioning tool in case you want to decorate something, put stuff you threw around back where they belong and / or lock them in place http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71063/? . Facelight PLUS http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4955/? - Hope you're not phobic http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/55555/? - Children Overhaul http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64769/? - Best flying engine around Well... my list is even longer, but that should do for now. All these mods do work together - only that I'd suggest to use either LoS OR CLARALUX. I decided on LoS. LoS "patches" for TAVE are NOT needed, they seem to be outdated anyway. That's it. Have fun, maybe you'll find something you didn't know by now or that you find interesting.

If so, get rid of it and use Win7. I hate to be stuck with Win10 myself but I can't find the energy to roll back.
