missing leg bone.

I am but a lowly noob trying to figure out how to animate.

 

I am having the same problem that this guy is having here

I searched online for a solution but the only thing I was able to find was other people with the problem.  Just hoping somebody knows what's going on.

 

Also, what's the best version of niftools max plugins for max 2010?
