Is there a way to switch between CBBE and UNP easily?

I tried creating two profiles on NMM for each one but something went wrong and now I have a bunch of yellow alert indicator things on a lot of mods. Is there an easier way to switch between them?

Not Super Easy, but should not be to dificult

Mod Organizer place: CBBE body and outfits (nif's and textures) into one folder and UNP (or UUNP) body and outfits (again nif's and textures) in another folder.

With that done you can enable one and disable the other to switch back and forth (you will want a cbbe and unp variant of each outfit though)... just make sure you keep the overwrite folder cleared of any stray nif's and tri files (ie using bodyslide and enabling the racemenu tri file morphs).

Note !!!: Make a third folder for the esp's so you don't muck with your games load order when turning either of the CBBE / UNP folders on/off in MO.

 

 

Or learn the Art of Bodyslide / Outfit Studio and just make all your outfits for which every body type and screw changing back and forth.

 

Since both UUNP and CBBE use the same base shape (I wonder why that is).

You can pretty much load an outfit into Outfit Studio and swap out the base body (from unp to cbbe, or cbbe to unp, or unp to uunp, or cbbe to uunp) then export with the new reference.... well you'll probably still want to run the nif thru mesh rigger so it doesn't clip when moving around in game.

 

But anyway... learn bodyslide. Then you'll figure out those custom npc's / followers / races / etc just use a variant of either unp or cbbe.

All you need to really figure out for custom npc's and races are "where they are placed in the mesh and texture folders" (and what you want to put in there place).
