lach1feragh Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Ever since I got AFT, I realize my followers from time to time will become invisible. I can see their name and I can talk to them but they're just invisible. They'll sometime restore themselves after some time has passed or entering a new area (although entering a new area is not a guaranteed way for them to become visible again). So far, the one way I found to make them become "visible" is closing the game and loading it again. I have 5 followers at the moment (Lydia, Illia, Jenassa, Annekke and Serana) and the only one that doesn't have this problem is Serana, whom is the only follower I didn't assign a City Outfit. Could that be the cause I wonder? Also another problem I've encountered is sometimes, I notice my followers have their... textures? or skin disintegrating into the environement? Okay, I honestly don't know how to describe this into words, but it doesn't happen frequent enough for me to get a pic.
Guest Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 AFT doesn't have anything with your follower's disappearances. You already partially answered what is causing it (your last sentence). You have body or/and armor textures/meshes problem. maybe you miss something or they are in conflict. Check your game for errors using Tes5 edit. Edit: sometimes your followers can stuck somewhere or not to follow you immediately on your move. In that case, open your Spells tab and use "command follower" option. That will teleport them at your side right away.

You gotta realize that the physics that controls the TNA in your game has all gotta run down the Havoc path. So there are some things we might want to know like.... How Recent your HDT config file is? Cause if its one of the older series files well dang man I bet your fighting invisible women in your game lolz. Its not AFT. Its the Bouncing Titties acting up. My guess your using an unoptimized XML file to control bounce. Now here's the thing...you could just have a slow computer....Or you done loaded up with soo many mods your game has slowed down....

Um... how do I give you those information? Like the HDT config file, where do I get that? lol, sorry It's probably the latter, having too many mods and game has slowed down. Been using ENBoost to speed up and reduce CTD and all. But from what I've seen, it's most likely HDT physics causing this, so I'll have to fix this.
Tefajo Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 NPC disappearing usually happens when you equip them with HDT gear (earings, necklace, wigs, etc) Its an engine limitation and there is no work around
