ZeroRaziel Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Hello, i wonder if its possible to increase the time a essential follower has to stay in Beelout/Knockdown state, after its health hit zero. I'm currently playing with 3 followers and i'am the "healer" of that grp, but healing isnt even necessary. When they get knocked down they just sit there for 10 secounds and stand up again fully healed. There is almost no way an enemy can hit them alle three and me down, before my group is fully up again.... I tried the "followers don't regenerate in battle" option of AFT, but that does nothing. Furthermore i found this file, but it dosen't work either... http://mods.curse.com/mods/skyrim/essential-npc-deathtime-increase
swmas Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 You can set AFT up so that followers can get knocked out until the end of the battle, look carefully in the dialog menu. Also if you play as a healer and your companions are getting to the bleedout stage, your not that good a healer. In vanilla difficulty doesn't affect followers so even on Legendary they should still be very hard to kill.

I just checked that and there is no such option, else than the "followers don't regenerate in battle" one. But i have to say sometimes they do lay on the ground and don't stand up again until the fight is over, but that happens very very rarely. I pretty much only seens this once in 34 levels. I'am playing with PerMa, Skyre_scaling, Encounter zones, Combat evolved and RotE on legendary and its by far to easy, when your followers aren't able to get knocked down for more then 10 secs. Maybe iI should have mentioned that i only use custom followers, witch i nerfed via CK. Edit: Could it be possible that Defeat inferes with the knockdown duration?
swmas Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 I'm not sure about Defeat. But when I was using AFT without Defeat, every time I was fighting a powerful enemy and my follower was outmatched it always got unconscious until the fight was over(I either ran or won) so maybe Defeat really do affect in some way. Now, when I have Defeat, I switched to EFF so I can't test.
cordate Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 You might try Essential Knockout Overhaul - I've been using it for a few months now and my essential followers often get knocked down/out and I have to find them after a fight and revive them.

Now, when I have Defeat, I switched to EFF so I can't test. I did some testing on this issue. It seems the followers get knocked out permanently, when they reach a -1 health or less. There seems to be a threshold before where they go into bleedout instead of going down. But there is a furter Problem. AFT prevents them from regenerating health while fighting, but in bleedout state they regenerate. Enemies wont hit a Follower in Bleedout State unless there is no other enemy (including me) available. That causes the Problem that when the followers get out of bleedout state they are fully healed again. I checked Defeat in TESedit. There seems to be no Problem with Defeat interfering with AFT. Edit Essential Knockout Overhaul wouldnt really help here, because this mod allows followers to go into Bleedout.

First, the "all down" option of defeat took my followers out of combat für 30 secounds when knocked down, what made them regenerate. Furthermore there was a wrong translation of the "no recovery in combat" function of aft. So i configured it the wrong way. (german translation)

cordate Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 The knockout mod lets one set the heal rate while they are down, so if you want them to stay down for an hour, you can choose that.
