BlaineSensei Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 so i had some main menu replacers installed (two of them , from LL) they worked really good but MO really bothered me with some overwrite files (from Ryu's replacer since i installed this one with mo and the other one through NMM) i just did something with them (prolly dragged and dropped them on Ryu's folder in MO , and replaced em [i later replaced the whole folder from the zip so idk wtf is happening) now whenever i load the game , a weird looking (dull & black ) appears on the main menu and it really kills my mood also i have a no main menu logo and no smoke mod (not really sure , since nmm just doesnt launch) will post main menu ss if possible edit:- screenshot

Terrarium Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 It looks like some kind of missing texture... You have probably mixed overwrite with some other mod or deleted some file by mistake. If you use MO then that's not a big deal. All you have to do is disable your mods 1 by 1 and see which one produces this bug.

winny257 Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 I suspect it is this mod? Main Menu Spinning Skyrim Emblem by Brumbek http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/7801/? https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/110/images/7801-1-1328771401.jpg if so, then manually download!then your Data folder open (in game). then the downloaded Meshes and Textures folder simply manually copy. then should all be all right.
BlaineSensei Posted June 23, 2016 Author Posted June 23, 2016 i have never installed that mod.... plus i was using ryu's main menu randomizer which i got from LL
winny257 Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 So this mod . Ryu Sexy Futa Main menu replacer/Ramdomizer 0.6 http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2410-ryu-sexy-futa-main-menu-replacerramdomizer/ then that same as previously described.
winny257 Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 I have me the mod viewed. too complicated, there is no manual installation works, too many folders.
Tefajo Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Try this: - Install any main menu replacer with MO and place it at the very bottom of your left panel (so nothing overwrites it) If when you launch the game you see the new installed main menu and no trace of the old (bugged) one then: - Exit the game - Check the file structure of the mod (folders and files that contains). I do not use any replacers, but lets just say (for example) that the file provided is called something like "mainmenulogo.png". - Follow that structure in the right panel of MO, in the "data" tab. - The file should be in red colour, indicating that there is a conflict (overwriting some other mod). If you hover the mouse cursor, MO should stat something like "Also in..xxx mod" (see attachment for an example). If that happens then you know what mod is causing the bug. If not then the file got overwriten in the main game folder and you will need someone else to give you the original to replace it back....

Tefajo Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 I am sorry, i am lost Why do you have files in the Mod Organizer's overwrite folder? What mod created those files? If those files are from a main menu replacer it should not be working since they are not activated as a mod (they are just lying there, in MO Overwrite folder) Edit: ok, i just took a look at some random main menu replacer. The file structure is this: Data Meshes interface logo logo.nif (17 kb) Textures interface objects mainmenuwallpaper.dds (5461 kb) Right click in the overwrite folder, create a new mod and check if those files are from a menu replacer. Try with and without activating the "new mod", check for file conflicts on the data tab of the right panel. Lets see what you can dig
