chev70 Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I have a little trouble with Martin; by wanting to trade his bathrobe which serves as its garment; to offer him a magnificently armor fit for an emperor; I discovered that Martin has a woman's body  I really don't know by what combination of mods I managed to do that (I was surprised to have virtually no mistake with the monstrous number of mods that work together (212) - But the first important one that I have found is to size ( cup H ) already; at the beginning ; I found in him; a little effeminate look (much like in some Japanese manga) ; But I got a big shock when I wanted to exchange the armor. Is it already happened to someone ? What can i do for repair that ? My mods altering the body (and the face) : - HGEC with BBB - Nomaam BBB animation replacer - Robert male body replacer v52 (muscular) - Blockhead - SetBody Reloaded Blockhead Edition - MBP 1.8 - MBP + 1.4 - MBP ++ 0.98 I also use your mods Lovers pk - LAPF / creatures / hooker / bitch go wild / slave trader / bravil underground + addon My other mods are modifications of the playing area; armor; some companions and environment (So nothing to do directly with the appearance of the npc) Thank u NB : sorry for my bad english
Guest Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 ROFL! Well, use TESIV edit to find out which MOD actually edited him. Then just remove the edit from that mod AND your bashed patch. Problem solved.
fejeena Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Is he a woman? Without clothes a woman ? If you changed his clothes with some Mod clothes it can be that the Mod clothes are only female ( set in the esp) Then he has a female body , a female cloth mesh. But nude he is still a male. The Mods you listed does not change Martin or his clothes. if you have installed the Robert male body replacer v52 armor/clothes pack his clothes are male ( I use that Roberts armor/clothes replacer pack ) Edit: yes with TES4Edit it is easy to find out which mod changed Martin. Load all Mods, then open the the Oblivion esm tree and then the NPC part and check Martin. All Mods are listed and you can check his inventory.
Guest Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Fejeena makes a VERY good point. SOME armor/clothes are female mesh only and if you give them to a male NPC, it will change their body to female. My male PC has accidentally done some interesting cross-dressing in the past.
chev70 Posted June 22, 2016 Author Posted June 22, 2016 I found the guilty Mod ; I had forgotten it; MBPNPC ++ (It's supposed to alter NPCs hair to use those of MBP - But apparently; not only. It's a Japanese mod and I probably mistranslated) I corrected with tes4edit and; removed "female" but it didn't work. So I removed completely MBPNPC ++; and there; Martin regained its original face but he always have two big breasts and he has not recover his voiced dialogues ( I forgot to mention this secondary problem) So I tried to use another character who had not yet met with Martin but the problem remains the same Maybe I need to change something in another file? Or, make a clean and complete reinstallation of the game? (This will take some time even if all my mods are numbered by type; clean and directly patched with a list of things to change progressively at certain times in installation, so this should not be excessive, but I'd avoid to reinstall if it's possible) edit: Oh, I forget; if anyone knows a good hair replacement mod for npc (for female, male I do not care a bit); I'm interested. Thank you

Thank you YOU can change Martin's sex IN-game with the console. DON"T re-install anything. #1. Open console and click on Martin so his OBJECTREFID is showing at the top of the screen. #2. Leave where he is and go into another cell, preferably an interior cell. #3. Open console again and his OBJECTREFID should still be showing at the top. Type "sexchange." Hit ENTER. (The console will tell you he is now MALE.) #4. Save your game. #5. LOAD that save. #6. Go see your male Martin. #7. Smile.
chev70 Posted June 22, 2016 Author Posted June 22, 2016 Yesss! This is again a male. I tried the sexchange command before but the i've CTD (now i know why) - In oblivion ; unlike Fallout and skyrim; the sexchange command doesn't work if I'm in the same cell than the target ...and as a bonus; he regained his voiced dialogue Thank u very much (That would have pissed off me to reinstall everything) An idea for a good hair replacement mod for npc ?

I'm using my own personally edited versions of both MBP++ & OCO V2 (http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/44676/?). I've removed all vanilla race & NPC edits from MBP and added the MBP hairs I like to the vanilla races in OCO V2. Then I do my own editing of NPC's to give them the hair I want them to have as a patch that I merge into my bashed patch. It's not that hard to use TES4 edit to copy Hair & eye records. IT is a pain in the ass adding them one by one to the races. Since I only care about the females, I just edited the "Sensual Walks" patches because they already edit all the females. SO, my recommendation for a start is OCO v2. THAT will give you the most stunning "LORE FRIENDLY" visual change to the vanilla races and NPC's. A quick way to "change" NPC looks is to replace the vanilla hair meshes with ones of your own choosing. That's part of what this mod does: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/7751/? IF you are not using the Wrye Bash installer to actually be able to SEE what a mod edits in your Data file, you may want to start using it. THAT way you can pick and choose WHICH mod wins in the battle over adding things to your Data File. You could also EDIT the pkg contents to suit yourself or create separate modules of a mod so that some of it wins and some of it doesn't. Just my 2cp.

I would favor the second link "psychobabbles" because the OCO problem; is that it has alot there too many constraints and multiple patches that would destabilize my current moded game (211 mods)
