How to use FO4 in-game workshop in Creationkit?

So I am making an area.

You know, simple stuff, and I have made some neon signs and lights but they are not "On".

I guess I need power and stuff. What do I do to hook them up to a power system or Just make them so that they are always on.

Same story with turrets and etc...

Just duplicate the items and edit the scripts to always show the "illuminated" mesh.

are the on versions really separate meshes? im thinking like the "open" sign where the letters can flash on their own. i figured they were just nicontrollers that bethesda wont release tools to make well, even though their new stance is "build an empty game and let you mod it"
