CTD on UI

I keep CTDin inside the UI, not opening when i open a chest or a footlocker anything thats really outside pipboy ui i crash inside the UI not when its opening so i can barter with someone go to buy 5 sitmpaks and then i may crash doing it, sometimes i dont crash but mostly when i open containers that have alot of items i always crash.

I also crash on UI with workbenches i cant mod any weapons or armours because when i just even hover over lets say Red dot sight it will crash, if it dont then it'll crash when i try to apply the mod.

Any reason why? i cleared out my UI folder and re-installed UI mods, i even tried disabiling the UI mods still crash. only thing i can come up with is the .ini files for interface, but thats all.

Is it for all workbenches or just a particular one? Might be a conflict with a mod or a bad nif mesh or something. At This point it's just best to disable a mod that has something to do with crafting stations and see if it is working fine

Have no mods like that just DEF_UI That changes any UI elements, not mods for crafting stations.

Is that all the mods in your load order or is there more? Use LOOT to sort your load order too and then try it once again i guess

Did you try doing a verify game cache through Steam? If you did and you still CTD, read on.......

With a load order that short, it should be relatively simple to find the offending mod or the combination of mods that's crashing your game. However, good troubleshooting starts with establishing a good baseline, and to do that, you'll need to UNINSTALL every mod and see if you can run a vanilla game. By uninstall I do NOT mean disable, I mean uninstall as in get rid of all traces of your mods in the DATA folder.

Once you can run vanilla and you're sure everything is working as it should, install ONE mod, load the game and see what happens. If all is well, install one more mod and check. Rinse and repeat until you find the bad mod. If you end up reinstalling everything and you don't CTD, then your original problem was probably caused by a mod that didn't install properly. Either way, your problem is solved.

I know this sounds drastic and most people tend to try fixing a problem by taking "educated guesses" but seriously, if you don't verify you can run vanilla, how the hell can you even attempt to fix a modded game?

If you decide to go this route, make sure you backup your saves first. Also, make sure that your game AND the mods you're reinstalling are up to date.
