Hi Guys,

 

Is it possible to have the game interface with data outside the game itself?

My idea is, if it's possible, to link the game with api.ai ( https://api.ai/ )

Then link that api with an NPC. To create a fallout 'siri' equivalent.

 

Maybe something like a little program that runs next to fallout. It would handle all api requests and interface with a microphone.

Then sending the api responses back to the game. Which would need to be said by the NPC... 

 

 

What do you guys think? Any technical limitations? Just not possible?

The thread is about Skyrim, but the same will be valid for FO4 I guess.
