Feedback on VR porn website

Hi folks.

Me and my friend are two VR enthusiasts. We have made an info site about VR porn reviews and game reviews.

I thought this forum could be the right place to get some honest feedback on our site.

How do you like our site. Do you get a good overview of the site? Do you like the colors and layout? Is there anything we could be better at this site? Feel free to share your thoughts :-)

I have several websites, different kinds for different businesses I have.  I have spent over 20k having a developer design and host them all.  Several I like a lot and some just so so. So with that being said, I would have to say you hit one out of the park with yours! Very nicely done!  Some things I like... you get right into the meat of things on your landing page.  I hate landing on a site and then have to click two or three pages to get to anything.  I understand the age verification page, no getting around that.  The site was clean and easy to get around.  I like the image of the websites you are reviewing and the 5 star system.  Easy to quickly see what you liked and didn't, so I don't need to bother with the ones with low scores. I also like that you launched the site with at least a fair amount of content.  So many websites are launched with just basically a shell.  Its not a huge amount of content, but I assume that more and more will be added on a regular basis, I mean who doesn't like to review porn.

OK now the things I don't like.......not much if any.  The white background???? I'm not sure I don't like it, but I am trying to give some possible critics.  Did you try tinting it down a little so it does not look as sterile?  The only other thing I can come up with is your cover page photo....It looks like it was taken from the website of one that you were reviewing.  Its ok to have a screen shot of a website without copy-write infringement, but be very careful with images off of other sites, especially if you were to give the site a bad review.  People take these things way to personal, and might make things difficult for you.  I had a very bad experience with copy-writes and patents, even though I did nothing wrong, I had to pay up the ass for our attorney to make that clear.

Anyway, I think its a very nicely done website and one that you can be proud of.  Good job!  Now don't try to out think yourself, and start changing stuff.   I would totally let this run as is and maybe in a few months or so, as you are adding content, then tweek it if you think you need to.

I took another look, and I think I would keep the white background.

Awesome feedback!

Thanks a ton! This is something I will def. take with me.

You're exactly right. We will try to add some new content within the next months. For now, we just need to land update social media. Having it read through, as we are not native English speakers etc. etc.

Good point with the cover page picture. Maybe we should contact a photographer to get a unique picture.

Thanks again for the good feedback
