OH1972 Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 After following a guide to get a certain look, my game has become quite slow. While in and of itself, it's still playable in that I can still manage to do all normal activities, I've observed that some events (such as SD+ slavery) trigger so slowly that there's barely a connection with the actual trigger. As an example, it looked like after being beaten down by a Foresworn near Rorikstead, he left the alone and she revived after some time. She decided that it was probably best not to tempt her luck again and walked down to Rorikstead to recover. I saved and took up the game again the next day when suddenly, SD+ stripped and enslaved my character to a Foresworn who was nowhere in sight. Now given that some of the mods which might be slowing the game down have a variety of settings, I wonder if its possible to identify which is the biggest brake on the game - that might allow me to ease the situation a bit by changing the settings rather than dumping the whole mod which might mess with dependencies of other mods. ZelenEagle Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 you just have A LOT of scriptheavy mods, this causes scripts to go slow no matter which mod it is, see if you can clean your save with tesVedit and script cleaner or something, maybe that helps

Just cleaned one more and the subjective impression is that to the contrary, now my FPS have suffered quite a bit - which may of course have other reasons and be coincidence.
