Pink Blossom Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Hi,sorry for my bad english. I have a gtx 780 and i5-4670k. When i install elfx and realvision i have big fps drop when I watch in certain areas like: -When i watch to the centre of whiterun near the breezehome; -at the top of the sun in blackreach; -solitude near the door; I think there are some particles that cause it. I installed the elfx and enb unofccial patchh ttp://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60603/? It increased my fps a lot in blackreach but I still have drops. I'm an hardcore gamer and I absolutely want my 60 fps everywhere How can I fix this problem?
Tefajo Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Hello First of all remember that any technical issue you have with Skyrim, ENB or mods should be posted on the right forum (Skryim Technical Support) Regarding your question: 60 fps with a gtx 780 on a moded and ENB game its going to be hard if not imposible to achieve. You might have it in some areas, most definetely indoors, but i seriously doubt you can mantain it steady at 60fps when outdoors. Of course it will depend much on the quality textures you use, the ugrids settings, landscape settings, etc you have. If you do not belive me take a look at the main page of Realvision, the author states that the full version should be used only by people who have a 970 gtx!!! (of course, i dont give a f.. i have a 760 gtx and use full version anyway ) Regarding FPS loss with ELFX, be mindful that many mods have a ELFX patch but these are not updated to ELFX 3.0. So if you have latest ELFX installed and a mod that has a ELFX patch as an optional file be sure that patch is for the latest ELFX , else dont install it or you will get issues from perfomance loss to CTDs A good example of this is Tamriel Reloaded HD. It offers a ELFX patch but for 2.0. Installing this patch will result in an instant CTD everytime you approach Windhelm (not installing it might have consecuences too tho) On the other hand, what Real Vision ENB preset are you using? Since the original release some authors did variations (updates) of it. This one got a little bit more of attention http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73661/? Personally i use this one http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74981/? I did some small tweaks of my own but its pretty much the default settings stablish by that author. If you browse the screenshots you will see most (all) of them are mine

Tefajo Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 You should never pass 60 fps, enable the fps limiter. I heard weird shit happens when your fps goes to the sky And imho Skyrim with ENB and some texture / landscape mods would be completely normal to run at 30-40 fps on a 780 GTX
