DAYMOYL not triggering events properly

[OH1972]

I have the problem that DAYMOYL events seem not to trigger properly, if at all. Often, the character is sent into bleedout, then nothing further happens until she regenerates. I once had a rape happen, probably through SL Defeat, but it took ages for the animation to load and after the rape was over, she was attacked again immediately. Eventually, she was killed after all, and I thought a rescue quest would trigger, getting some fuzzed-out events happening, but after a moment of loading, in the end, she woke up again where she had been struck down with "You still have some life in you." No SD+ triggering, no Simple Slavery, none of the other potential events. Does anyone have an idea what the issue might be?

my advice just get rid of it, u really dont need it for defeat, and works if u config them correctly i.e. defeat, sd+ etc.., just not worth the effort to figure it all out..

Um, DAYMOYL is a requirement for SD+, so no, I can't just get rid of it. And compared to the last troubleshooting I had to do for another problem which required reinstalling DYNDOLOD, I figure this one should not be that much trouble if someone points me to what to do.
