Advanced Hotkey setups

Ever have so many mods that require some sort of hotkey, but find they overlap and have issues?

This may be the post for you.

With my current setup, every key on my heyboard does at least 1 thing, most do 2, some do 3, a few do 4, and I may have 1 or 2 that do 5.

How the hell??!! you ask?  Proper setup of Enhanced Hotkeys by  TheNiceOne.

I set up with 8 X 5,mouse button hotkeys enabled requiring a modifier button (x by default), 4 wheels with sticky keys, fast spell switching

Rows go as follows

1     2     3      4     5      6       7       8          With 4 wheels, there are now 160

0     Y     U     P      I      O       [        ]           hotkeys available.  When you

J     K     T     N-    N+    N7    N8    N9          assign a spell, then click the key

V  LMB RMB N*     NE   N4     N5   N6          in the key selection window, it sets

N    B      M    N/     N0   N1     N2   N3          to auto cast. Fast spell switching

automatically switches back to the last

                                                                    hotkeyed spell.

Wheel 1 I set for combat situations   --  Stickey Key - L Alt

Wheel 2 for commanding npcs and walking around town/relaxing at camp  --  Sticky Key -- R Alt

Wheel 3 I use for craftybits, could also be for other misc stuff ie: pose mods  --  Sticky Key -- R Ctrl

Wheel 4 I use for editing. Redecorate, Decorator assistant, Claim That Interior, Set Essential Actors Plus  --  Sticky Key  --  R Shift

NOTE!!!! Make sure your NumLock stays on, the numberpad keys count the same as their non - pad counterparts. NEVER SET A HOTKEY TO NUMLOCK!!!!!!

Any mod that uses a modifier key, I set to X, nice to have a dedicated modifier

RefScope, default key is x, I set it to  " < "

FormFinderID  default modifier is L shift ( I think ) Change to X , use " > " for targeted object and " /  " for self.

You will need to edit ini's to make them all work.

Redecorate, I use wheel 4, key 1 to cast the spell. In the ini, I set the keys to use 2-7 for movement, 8 for duplicate, Keep L shift for the RotMod key, [  ]  for tier brackets (speed change), for LockItem and SaveConfirm = Y (both default enter) , Abort Move and SaveAbort (both same default, can't remember ) , ResetRot = H,  :   and   "   for size adjustment

My  " L " key is dedicated for the lockpicking minigame in PSE.

Q is my Craftybits key, and the L Win is my CB Spear key.

Using unique key ids TNO put in the oblivion.ini, I disable certain default oblivion hotkeys (auto move, journal , block & POV - must reset the mouse button after negating these), set my always run  button to  \ For the journal I just use the F1-F4 buttons (I think these are hard coded). Wait to the Pause/Break key,  This gives me CapsLock for bash (DR, CombatOmega), Set R for My ready item for throwing (CombatOmega). I also use a mouse with 2 side buttons, One of those is grab, because the Z button sucks for grabbing and moving around, and the other is my throw button.

Some mods, not many, may require a minor script change to change a hotkey.

Hopefully, someone, somewhere out there, finds this useful.
