Nude Male Mesh Confusion

Recommended Posts

So I'm fairly new to modding, about a month or so into it, and kinda got the hang of things finally.  However, I'm running into this one particular confusing anomaly that I know is coming from a past mistake.  I just don't quite know how to fix it and what to fix it with.

Most of the males in Skyrim are featuring a lovely "Default" body as my PC Body Changer calls it.  They fit their Shlongs of Skyrim just fine, look fantastic, couldn't be more pleased with that.

However, for all the males that seem to be set up as a "Follower" - ie:  Onmund, Farkas, that headsman dude in Solitude, Marcurio, etc. etc.... they all have this other body.  PC Body Changer refers to it as "Vanilla - 0".  I don't care for it.  It features some puncture wound (which is fine) but they have almost no butt (it's sad).  Also, there's a flaccid penis that sticks there underneath the SOS penis.

I'm pretty sure this came from downloading Better Males at some point.  I deleted it, but I don't think I really did.  I read up on it some, and searched my Skyrim folder and found folders that look like possibilities.  But I'm still really confused.  Why is this "follower" body not like the other NPC males and how can I get it to match?  What folder is the game looking to, to dig this up?

Upon doing some research, I've seen a body that looks close and it seems to be the Nord male?  Maybe?

Anyway, if someone knows this territory like the back of their hand and could point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful.  I would really like the follower types to have the same body type labeled "Default".

Hi there

I am guessing you are using SOS male bodymesh?

Sometimes some NPC overhaul mods copy stuff or use different textures / meshes than the default ones _(used by PC). This makes them look weird (like if their head do not match their bodies)

Do you have anything like NPC Overhauls, males of Skyrim, etc installed?

Oops, found it.

I wonder how do I make it work with SOS + SAM? But it seems impossible.

I guess this is related to the problem OP has - SOS will put a penis on all bodies. Is it even possible to use such  a mod with SOS? Other than editing each and every NPC in the SOS MCM menu?

OMG thank you!   You solved it... it was indeed the Males of Skyrim.  Yep, I had that this whole time and thought it only changed their hair and facial features.. duh.. wow, that's awesome.  Thank you again!!

Sorry it took so long to reply.. I haven't had time to tinker with it again until now.
