calranthe Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 I want to both have my cake and eat it, you know I have never really thought about it but that phrase is beyond dumb I mean is there anyone who goes to the trouble of getting cake that decides "you know what I'm not going to eat it, I have it but I am just not going to eat it". What I want is both naughty and nice, by that I mean over the last few years I have installed skyrim many times over different computer systems and it always goes the same way. 1)Let steam install Skyrim (used to take a few hours but now with current internet a full install of Skyrim takes 20 minutes max) 2)Follow the base STEPS model and create a stable base version of Skyrim that looks awesome and plays fine (mod organizer) 3)Survival mods like realistic needs and frostfall 4)Start installing naughty mods and even with best of intentions and separate profiles everything goes to hell. So what I am going to try and succeed in is a no sacrifices install to have all of the mods I ever wanted in one single install and for it to not only run but allow me to actually play the game not just as a quick porn fix but to do the whole story line. Hardware wise I probably have a really good setup to give it a try M2 950 pro hard drive (this thing is an absolute beast to put it in perspective not only are boot up times for the OS almost none existent but Sims 3 fully modded loads with 17 seconds) i7 6700K (non overclocked) 16gb DDR4 Nvidia 970 (buying a 1080 next week) But hardware is only a small part but the above should remove that as a limiting factor, if I go through every ini tweak every optimizing patch and stability fix I am hoping to end up with a functional game. I will be continuing this post as I decide on options (going with UNP for the first time always used CBBE but interested in a change) BTW any suggestions for cool mods to include.
Kinky Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Install Vivid weathers, logical grass, 0sex, body replacers and you already have beautifull game and sexy stuff Oh dont forget about stability so install crash fixes and fix lip sync by meh321. Its going to be new standard that will replace SKSE and shesons memory patch and some other mods that were made to fix crashes and improve stability.

Oh yes the new vivid weathers that looks really amazing will look into it all.
calranthe Posted June 1, 2016 Author Posted June 1, 2016 Well I now have a completely stable or as stable as Skyrim can be now to add naughty mods to the mix and see how it lasts.
