Animation Question

Ok.  I know next to nothing about animation, and really don't have the patience or ability to get the applications, but I was wondering if it was possible to do something.

Over on the Nexus, I saw a Chun Li follower.  Made me wonder if it was possible to retool or create specific animations for particular characters.

Like for her, the Kikkoken.  If you aren't familiar, it's a fireball type action.

Spinning Bird Kick (doesn't have to move forward)

and Lightning Leg/Lightning Kick

Would these types of animations be able to be converted to something the Skyrim/Fallout engine could use?  This is just a curiosity type question, as I really don't know the limits of the animators.

Technically some animations for Skyrim or FO4 can be done to replicate what you see in these animated gifs.

But for sure it is not a few hours job. (And FO4 is still problematic.)

Then you may want some anim objects, or maybe a new spell FX effect to replicate the fireball or the lightning kicks.

 

Then if the follower you mentioned, is a normal Character (a human NPC), then playing the animation by script is a matter of seconds.

 

So: possible is possible, but requires an Animator of extreme willing and knowledge.

I'm just getting into custom animation... and the number of hoops to jump through to get things working right is just... staggering.

 

But yes, it would be possible. A knowledgeable animator could whip this out with relative easy, I think. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here wondering why my skeleton rig's arms are broken.

I know it isn't easy, and as I said, it was just a curiosity thing.  I know the basic creation would be a lot of work, and just figuring out how and what exactly to do would be the big part.  I am not commissioning anything mind you.  I am just asking if any of it is TECHNICALLY possible.  hehe

 

I had in my head a thought of Chun Li, Ken and Ryu as followers, using unarmed combat but kicking their way thru Tamriel, tossing fireballs back at dragons and stuff...but just didn't know if it could even be done.  I know thinks like Momo back flip exist so I figured possibly these could be done with a willing and able animator.  

 

Chun Li would most definitely HAVE be a completely self contained stand alone follower with her own body and outfits, because of her  massive legs, to do her properly.  Which would make her completely incompatible with every body out there. :/  But it's Chun Li...so I suppose it's ok.  She's got plenty of sexy outfits on her own.  
 

I also figured that they would really be mostly like a Master level spell with double mouse click (R+L charging) but that would getting way ahead of myself.  heh
