Skyrim broke up with me over night

I read a long time ago one dude saying playing dark souls was like having the girlfriend of your dreams and then constantly and with no warning she slaps you in the face from time to time, clearly this mofo never tried playing skyrim...

So, long story short. Yesterday started a fresh playthrough (all mod clean by TESEdit, ran Loot, etc,etc); played fine in the afternoon, played a bit more later that night, went to bed, woke up this morning (and I swear to god almighty above in the heavens I DID NOT TOUCHED ANY MODS AT ALL) and tried to play again and I was greeted by this:

Please note where the cursor is, on NEW GAME, and this is not even consistent, sometimes I get this on continue or load, other times it just crashes, what. the. actual. fuck.

How much I hate this game sometimes...
