Carry weight mod not working with boat ride?

I can use carriage but can't use boat ride anymore. Any other alternative or fix?

Seems it uses a perk and probably a bit of a wasted slot in that respect anyway.

 

How about at the console doing:-

 

player.setav CarryWeight 30000

 

to check it's worked

 

player.getbaseav CarryWeight
