Bijin / Toccata / Serenaholic/ Wench problems

Something has gone horribly wrong, it's on my end, but I don't know how to fix it.

I have problems with all the mods listed in the title mod I'll just talk about the Bijin mod since it's the same problem.

Invisible hands. Invisible bodies.

With clothes their hands are invisible, without clothes, they are just floating heads and necks.

What is going on.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled, and I think it's a problem with CBBE? I'm really clueless. I got the customization mods for Bijin Wives, Warmaidens, NPCs, Toccatta, and Serena, and I customized all the bodies and set them to different things. That didnt help, but one thing I noticed was if I chose fair skin for Ysolda, her face and neck had fair skin on, but the body was still invisible. I'm so confused.

Really the problem is just the invisible bodies.

Please help, thanks.

That was a bad idea.

Do THIS instead:

Open an explorer window to

\meshes\actors\character\character assets                  <--- that's what your own player char uses

Open a 2nd window (keep the other one open) - for each of the NPC of Bijin, Toccata and Serana

EXAMPLE Aela from Bijin Warmaidens:

\meshes\actors\character\Aela

Now go to your first window - move the 2 open windows apart so both are good visible.

copy the files

femalebody_0

femalebody_1

femalehands_0

femalehands_1

femalefeet_0

femalefeet_1

femalehead

(mark them all and ctrl+c)

into \Aela and every other NPC (\Anneke, \Mjoll, etc. etc.) those "npc beautification" mods handle

Yes, that's gonna be a lot of CTRL+V + Enter button

Do this, and they all use the player-body, and as you are not invisible, your problem will be fixed

Use bodyslide to make more difference between weight variations, and then if you want to go further, you can check out the mod "NPC Body Scale Randomizer" which adds further differences. Don't mess with the weight scale in that one, though.

I gave them all random UUNP Special generated bodies as long as you stay in the unp family it's fine, I used UNPB and UNPSkinny and plain UNP and a dream girl preset I made custom for my PC.

Sounds like Gigabytes of stuff,

every vanilla armor + custom armor as ~100 different versions of _0.nif and _1.nif so that all "randoms" have proper armor.....

Let's say your PC is skinny and for example your (Riften-)Mjoll got massive udders, and obviously "default" armors are matching PC, you MUST have gigabytes of copies for every possible preset so that your Mjoll doesn't clip through the "PC armor"

Unless you by default have EVERY single gud dayme NPC naked

This problem was around before I did all of that. I'm just genuinely confused why they have invisible bodies but no other NPCs that aren't modded do. And the thing was some of the bodies worked, like Delphine, I could see her body and everything.

These bodies are pretty similar, I have conversions of all my armors and clothing to dream girl which is really middle of the road for unp variants. Some armors which I know certain NPCs will be wearing I've converted using UUNP. What's really the point is that they all may look similar while clothed, but like real life they look nothing alike undressed, none are hugely busty and many are pretty slim with varying breast and butt shape and weights, though UNPB is about as large a breast as I can tolerate in my game ;)

Loadorder maybe.

If that already was before you dabbled with the NPCs meshes, then it may be a classic case of "looted"

You may have used Loot and now your NPCs suck:

Loot arranges most mods Alphabetically.

As example, the very END of my order:

dlcbabes - beautifulelvesdlc.esp - that's a merge of "dlcbabes.esp" and "beautifulelvesdlc.esp", it beautifies many common generic NPC such as bandits and thalmor hunters etc.
FemaleUlfric.esp - turns ulfric into a female
The Ordinary Women.esp - turns many "ordinary" but still unique women such as Mirabelle in mage college
Bijin Merged.esp - merge of Bijin Wives and Bijin NPC
Bijin Warmaidens.esp - that you know
Serana and Elisif.esp - that's a merge of "Toccata as Elisif" and "Seranaholic 1.61"
Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp
ASLAL - Hearthfire Support.esp
Bashed Patch, 0.esp

as you can see "B" after "D", Loot would crap that up and put B-ijin before D-lcbabes and I'd have lots of NPC walking around that got NO head. Seriously, that actually happened.

Ok so I finally fixed it. My load order had nothing to do with it. I had Realistic Ragdolls and Force installed, and it messed with the bodies and made them invisible. For people that still have this problem, just go through and uninstall mods that affect the body in any way.

Posted

Realistic ragdolls and force is required by a lot of mods, unless that's changed somehow. I still have it installed with no issues though I install it first then overwrite with my animation files and lastly xpmse skeleton.

I doubt it's Realistic Ragdolls, which like dTd said is required for a ton of mods and unlikely to be the problem.

The issue sounds like one or more mods have changed the the replaced bodies to non-default.  All those NPC are vanilla named NPC using default races.  If the body replacement is for a non-default race only and you assign such body to a default race NPC then the NPC will not be able to equip it (nude body in Skyrim is just another cloth/armor) and that particular piece (hands, body, feet) will be invisible.
