Help with "NVSE Cosave"

Whenever I start the game a message pops up saying this,

 

"Sexout: Your NVSE cosave appears to be unavailable. Sexout is reinitializing to compensate, but you will likely have problems in other mods."

 

After this, I tried talking to an NPC for sex, the dialogue was there, but the sex did not happen. What did I do wrong?

Just fixed it,

Make a new game. and it will be fixed.

This can happen if you play on multiple computers and let STEAM synchronize your save games- it copies the main save but not the cosave. Sexout should be able to recover by reinitializing, but other mods that don't (or can't) rebuild their data may have problems.

Sorry for reviving a solved issue, but I'm having the same problem except that it reappears across playthroughs. Are there any causes of NVSE cosave weirdness? I don't have a second computer, so I don't think it's Steam's fault.

Hey I was replaying new vegas too, and end up with the same issue.

I've made some "test" and couldn't find which mod makes me end-up with this however I tried to do an autosave on a save which didn't had this issue.

 

=> I get the NVSE cosave thing with an auto-save or a quick one.

And end-up freezing the game after ~7-8 sec after loading it.

 

(I didn't had this back in early 2016 and never had this kind of troubles just few missing meshes maybe... even if I don't have them on this installation anymore)

shutting off stem synch helped keep mine from acting up
