Getting Death Alternative and Sexlab Defeat to work with one another.

If I understand your problem correctly, then all you have to do is turn off "player is essential" in Sexlab Defeat. I had the two of them working in perfect unison the last time I had them both installed.

 

If I didn't understand the problem, you're going to have to be more clear than "they don't work together"

Since the newest version of defeat has it's own bleedout functionality, i'm not sure about compatibility anymore. However, i'd say older versions of defeat even require DA, but DA caused several problems to me so i disabled as much as i could.

OK, it is working somewhat with the new Defeat. What I want to know is what to disable to have them play friendly to one another.

Ah, I did have this working at one point. From what I remember defeat automatically registers itself as a Death Alternative outcome and you should see it listed in one of the sections of the DA MCM.

 

The way I ran it was to disable Player As Victim events in Defeat (but leave the mod itself active)...this will stop it triggering itself when you die, but when you die and Death Alternative kicks in it will still trigger Defeat based upon the chances you select in DA.

Don't mean to drudge up old threads but I was wondering if anyone knew how to set it up so Sexlab Defeat handles all the bleed out and Death Alternative scenarios through it's own system. I have them working together with DA handling all the knockdown and combat settings but I can't "resist" when enemies try to rape the player character, but it does work fine. I simply just want the features from Defeat to work over the features from DA.
