Crash after a few seconds

Whenever I load any saves my game seems to crash just when it finishes. Also if I start a new save the game seems fine then crashes after about 10 seconds. This leads me to believe that it may be a mod that causes the crash and there is a delay as it boots up in new games ,yet it's already loaded in saves, so crashes straight away. I don't know whats causing it. When I first got this I verified game cache and replaced 5 missing files (some were cleaned esm) and it then worked fine. However the next time I loaded up the game the problem came back. I can't play the game at the moment and I dont know whats causing it. Graphics, RAM, Mods...

The easiest work around for this issue is to start a new game and then just load your save game. Also make sure your using the SKSE ini tweaks for memory and other stuff.

As I said, "if I start a new save the game seems fine then crashes after about 10 seconds"  of exiting the character creation. How would I use the SKSE ini tweaks? I know where the file is but not sure what I have to change to allow the game more memory, and obviously don't want to fck it up any more.

You don't have Papyrus logging enabled, do you?

I have the latest version of Papyrus installed (v3.2). If the logging is separate then it may or may not be. Am I right in thinking it tells you why errors occur? If so please tell me how to enable it and if it's something else what it does.

Take a look at it. If you see the word "ERROR", see if there is a hint as to what may be wrong.

 

If you can't make any sense of it (I usually can't), post the file here. Someone might be able to interpret it.

I cannot find the Logs file onwards. I recently upgraded the papyrus from 3.1 to 3.2 recently (however did a lot of upgrades to mods) and downloaded the main one from the nexus, so it should be right one.

I know the old papyrus I had did have log files as I'd seen them but never had to use them before as I could normally figure out the bug. Do I have to do something different to get the log files for this version?

I'm not an expert on the subject but, as far as I know there are different reasons for your skyrim crashing, too many scripts, skyrim's memory reaching it's limit, load order, conflicting mods and could be others I don't know.

Your 10 seconds crashing is it recent? did you install some mods and the game and started crashing frequently? are you using the skse memory patch?

The problem is I upgraded a bunch of my mods on the fresh install. I'm normally pretty good at fixing my skyrim problems however due to the fact it was after a fresh install as well and along with the fact that I've read so many different causes on this I can't really say for sure anymore. I was just hoping that there was someone who actually knew of the cause.

Indeed there are several possible causes, but in this case the Papyrus log ought to be the first one to look into.

 

Write into Google something like

skyrim how to enable papyrus log

 

There is something you need to write into skyrim.ini (mind you, the one in the profile folder, not the one in the general folder). I did it a while ago and can no longer remember exactly what it was. It shouldn't be difficult to find.
