but other than that i have no idea what to do next, i would like to know what are the best sex/adult mods these days as ive been out the loop for many years and while ive been looking around ive felt a bit confused by it all.

Find what looks interesting there, try each thing that looks interesting with a throw away character just to get a feel for whether you'd consider using that mod for a full play through (if a full play through is what you have in mind, some people just play around with the sex mods and totally ignore all the quests).
