stay horse! *fast travels* DAM HORSE!

ok, i got shadowmere, thought he was cool rode him for a block and got off... now he won't stop following me, so i was wondering if there is a way to make him stay somewhere, like a aft followers for horses r something

nevermind, took looking at about 4 different mods... but convient horses has a option... i feel stupid now

This is why I don't bother with horsies in skyrim, boring and pointless thanks to fast travel and it takes mods to fix the dam things at all before they become slightly useful.

You can't fast travel to locations that you haven't visited yet.

Use Arvak from Dawnguard for a hassle free horse. He's a normal summon, so he expires after a while, but not while riding.

I always hated that horses fast traveling with the player, too. I always avoided riding any that I bought for that reason. Even horses from mods like Emfy. I would only ride horses from random encounters like the one that stand by a dead bandit.

 

But I'll take any day riding a horse than fast traveling. Everything else was on foot. Fast travel just speeds the game up to fast. and I rather take my time with a game than use that feature.
