allsunday Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 I don't know how I got these double chairs showing up in the same place. Is it the mesh or the textures? All I remember doing is installing a texture pack. How odd. Maybe it is a texture. If so, where's the texture located? Thanks, guys.FYI - This particular table and chair is located in Hjerim in Windhelm.
srayesmanll Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 More likely you have either 2 mods conflicting, or a mod that added furniture to a vanilla location and did not remove the original furniture - basically 2 mods adding stuff to the same spot. If you have MFG console (if you have SexLab, you should have it already), you should be able to open the console and click on each item (you may have to move around a bit to click on each chair) and you should see the mod listed on the right side that added it.
allsunday Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 @srayesmanll Yeah, I have MFG console, but I already clicked on them both. No indication of mods attached to said chairs. The most likely culprit would be ETAC (Expanded Towns and Cities) and there's been a very recent update to ETAC just this week so I'm going to try that out and see what happens. I was hoping someone would have come across the problem before which is why I posted on here, but if all else fails... console command: disable and markfordelete is all I can say.

ETAC doesn't touch the Major cities (like Windhelm), nor the vanilla houses in the cities. Could be a stray edit, but again I doubt it. Might be helpful to post a load order so that someone might see a mod that could be the culprit. Also you could use tes5edit, load up your modlist, try to find Hjerim in the list, and you should see the conflicting mod if there is one.
allsunday Posted May 14, 2016 Author Posted May 14, 2016 Ah, yes, you're right. ETAC does not modify the major cities. I've been playing through Dawnguard for the first time and just finally got back to the real world. I took my time with that quest, as is the case for all the quests I do in Skyrim, so pardon my long absence. Thank you for responding to my post, much appreciated. In any case, since the desk and chair issue does not exist anywhere else in Skyrim except for Hjerim in Windhelm, I went ahead and markfordelete one of the tables and chairs. Problem solved -- I hope.
