[Sims 3] Stop time?

Hey guys, I've got a quick question. Is there any way to stop the flow of time completely, maybe with a console command? The closest thing I've found is NRaas Relativity set to 1, which slows time down a lot, but doesn't stop it entirely.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Erm yes: Pressing P pauses the game, stopping time completely. ^^

Most people agree that Sims 3 is way too fast; I play with relativity at 75%. Stopping time entirely so that it's always half past nine and the same sims in the same spots ... I don't think it's possible.

As an alternative, most threads about time in sims seem to say

1) Nraas Relativity is excellent (I agree)

2) you could disable ageing (in the F5 menu somewhere)

3) Nraas MasterController Cheats to maximize sims' motives, so you could create a "city where people don't get tired" by setting everyone to have full energy all the time. Having full energy will, unfortunately, not prevent them from leaving the night club to go home and sleep at 22:00 precisely, unfortunately. Things happen on various lots at certain times and there doesn't seem to be any simple way to just freeze everything.

Okay, thanks for your answer!

Of course I know how to pause the game. :D I should have described my question more precisely. When the game is paused, I can't move my Sims around. I would like to do normal activities and such, but without passing time. :)

I think relativity is probably your best bet. I'm not sure if it is Relativity but I think there was a mod that had the game running almost close to real time. I'd have to look it up to be certain.

Okay, I'll stay with Relativity then, thank you!

relativity when you put it on -1

the only time it moves is if you hit fast forward

If you want slow time put it on 1 2 or 3. Much longer nights

That is also something I could try, thanks! I didn't think of that
