Bloodfang Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Hey guys ! I've been working on a new mod that aims to bring better looking concrete structures (from the Wasteland Workshop DLC). So far everything looks perfect, my only issue is with the concrete foundation object : somehow every new texture looks "blurry" on it, what's more odd is that I don't encounter this problem with the other concrete structures parts. Maybe a mesh problem ? Does this have anything to do with the normal maps? I remember I had this problem when I tried to play with normal maps, then I went back to the vanilla normal map and no more blur. Just as a note, I saved my normal maps and _s files in GIMP 2.8, in DTX1 with the "generate minmaps", I read that's what would be best. But I wonder.. Here's some screenshots :
Bloodfang Posted April 18, 2016 Author Posted April 18, 2016 Ok turns out the source of the issue was from a specular map that wasn't correctly aligned with the rest of the textures. In case if that can help anyone out there.
