Super strange SexLab Defeat glitch?

So I've enjoyed sexlab and all its glory until recently. Now It won't start the sex. 

 

-In mutual encounters, I proposition the NPC and after,"I sure do!" they simply return to what they were doing, be it walking, sit back at a weapon sharpener, etc. Clothes don't come off.

 

-In a Player-as-Victim scenario I get knocked down and the NPC strips me of designated clothes. Followed by them stripping. Then they act almost as if I just used console command [resetai] which is likely the 60 seconds of no agression after kicking in, without sex.

 

-In a Player-as-Victim surrender scenario I'm not sure what happens. Haven't tested.

 

-In a Player-as-Aggressor scenario I remove their clothes, remove my clothes, then I do A tiny visual-glitch(?) hop upwards and I have full control again. No locked camera or glitched running animations.

 

-In a Player-as-Aggressor necro scenario The same as above happens.

 

-----In all of these The "Start animation XXXXX" doesn't display at the top left-----

 

The SexLab debug spells Seem to work 50% of the time. Will find out more if it would help. Also, The "Start animation XXXXX" does display when it works

 

What I've tried: new game/rerunning FNIS/disabling, cleaning, re-whatever-3rd-defeat-option is/ uninstalling all mods added since last working instance

 

I'm truly at the mercy of anyone willing to help. Trying to google this for hours and I can only find information of people having trouble with animations not the initialization itself. Thank you

Sounds like the SexLab threads are failing validation, or you have a mod killing the thread as soon as it starts. Either case, check your Papyrus log for what's going on when you try to start an animation, and post the log here if you can't figure it out.

i had bugs like that and sometimes is hard to say if its defeat or sexlab in interaction with defeat. I usually solve it in 2 ways:

 

1 - Clean system in Defeat MCM

and / or 2 - Reset Sexlab

 

Then things start going normal again

I have that problem no matter the SL mod that I'm using. I'll trying playing some later to get a fresh log to post. We'll see what happened.

Okay so I Don't know much about Papyrus logs, but I woke up and went at it again and I found that somewhere along the line of  1-restarting PC 2-Clicking Sexlab and updating in MCM and then 3- Cleaning defeat again (and 4- changing the surrender button) served to fix the problem.
