I love food. I love making food, eating it, sharing it! So I decided to do something fun with this thread.

Let's make a thread where can share different recipes food, especially if they are based around video games,

movies,cartoons. Just fun stuff.

 

Apple Cabbage Stew from Skyrim (Sort of):

 

Ingredients:

 

6-8 sweet apples (red delicious work best. But if you like a little kick to it go with Granny Smith)

4 pounds Salt-Cured Sauerkraut(cabbage premade for what you'll need). I suggest getting the naturally cured ones

8 cups of apple cider ( you can  use apple juice)

Salt as needed

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla

2 teaspoons of honey

(Not needed but fun /for me /1 teaspoon of crushed red peppers)

 

 

Directions:

 

First step: You'll need to put the sauerkraut into a strainer and rinse them. Make sure you drain it well, squeeze

out the extra water by hand

 

Second Step: Dice all but two apples.

 

Third Step: Put the sauerkraut into a  large pot along with the cider/juice then add the diced apples. Add the vanilla, peppers, and honey next.

(The honey can be removed for vegans against honey)

 

Fourth step: Put the pot over a low flame(or high enough so you see it start to simmer)  to simmer for 3.5 - 4.5 hours

 

Fifth step: Dice the remain apples and add them to the pot.

 

Sixth step: Simmer for another 30 minutes or until it's a dark golden color. Add salt to taste.

I wish I could cook desserts. I usually consider myself a pretty good cook, but desserts are just beyond me.

So my recipe for Skyrim Sweet Rolls is this:

Money

 

Directions:

1. Get in the car

2. Go down to the corner market

3. Purchase a package of sweet rolls

 

Using this handy recipe, you can enjoy your favorite store-bought pastries any time.

bleh - doesn't sound appetizing.  

 

From the Pillars of Eternity cookbook:

 

Darkest Rauatai Cookies

 

3 large egg whites

2 ¼ cups confectioner’s sugar

¾ cup regular cocoa powder

¼ cup black cocoa powder

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp espresso powder

1 cup (6 oz) chocolate chips

 

Preheat the oven to 350F. Place greased parchment paper onto two

baking sheets.

 

Mix all of the ingredients except the chips until well-blended. Slowly

stir in the chips, then scoop the dough onto the baking sheets. Make

1-2 inch cookie dough lumps, but give them 4 inches of room to spread.

 

I recommend four rows of two cookies on each baking sheet.

Bake 8-9 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool on the

sheets.

 

Makes 16 cookies.
