EricSKelly1972 Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 let's say i want to make a 1 handed version of Wuuthrad and place it somewhere inside the Tomb of Ysgramor, (like the same chest as the shield) how would i go about doing that?
EricSKelly1972 Posted April 10, 2016 Author Posted April 10, 2016 anybody? i've been looking at Ck to try and figure this out on my own but i'm just not getting it. in the block under "Keyword" it says "WeapTypeBattleaxe". i'm wanting to make it a 1 hand weapon (waraxe). right clicking on that line gives me these options: new, add, delete, copy stack, paste stack. deleting or adding gives me this message: "form's id is not unique. previous form is type keyword." what do i need to do to change it to WeapTypeWaraxe? is that even possible?
Guest MonsterFish Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I just tried it and have had no problem doing it. Did you duplicate 'BladeOfYsgramor' (Seriously, Bethesda) before trying it? I also changed skill to onehanded and equiptype to left hand too.

I also changed skill to onehanded and equiptype to left hand too. did all of that. 1hand skill check, equip either hand check, can't change it from a battleaxe to a waraxe. i end up getting a battleaxe i can use with a shield and that's not what i want.
Guest MonsterFish Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Oh right... Wouldn't that require altering the mesh for 1st person weapon? You could just find the Iron Axe 1st person mesh, get rid of the axe and put Wuuthrad in its place.

Open the weapon you are editing up, in this case your copy of wuuthrad, towards the bottom where there is the a tab called game data, it shows things like the weapon weight and such, select the tab next to it called art and sound, the first box called model is the one you are looking at as it is the place where the mesh for the weapon is. Choose the 1h axe you want to use as its replacer and copy the relevant bits into your wuurhrad replacer in the same locations for both meshes, you might want to change the weights/damage and such as well, especially the impact data so that it is using 1h rather than 2h.

Varithina Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Open the armour section and find the shield of ArmorShieldofYsgramor, right click on it and choose the use info option, this will show 2 things, left click on cont qaarmourcontainer, move the container that shows up around so that you can see its item list, go back to your axe and then drag and drop it onto the item list for the container, check to make sure that it is there, afterwards save to whichever mod you have as an active file for this, and you should be good to go.

Varithina Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Check on the weapon you created and see if you have set the animation type to onehandaxe rather than twohandaxe, if that dose not sort it then I am stummped.
