AmethystLR Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Is there a way to do it? I think RS children does it, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to make hair changes stick in game (I run RS children, prince and the pauper, etc) This is so frustrating.
FastestDogInTheDistrict Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Here you go - try this mod instead. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49756/?tab=3&selected_game=110&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodimages%2F%3Fid%3D49756%26user%3D1%26gid%3D110&pUp=1 I use this, along with the UKSP patch for it, and an optional freckle skin texture (which I highly recommend), as well as a replacement head morph (also recommended). All can be found on Nexus, using the search term "child" (or "tk child" for more specific results - and further options), and have always worked just fine for me.
AmethystLR Posted April 4, 2016 Author Posted April 4, 2016 My only problem is I like the RS Children facial looks better. >.< TK Children just didn't quite do it. I'd love it if I could somehow apply say.. KS Hairdo's to the kids. Aghhh!
FastestDogInTheDistrict Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Oh! Really? I dunno - it's a well-made & popular mod, but I find the... eerie ECE-ness... of the RS Children [of the corn] to be kinda spooky! ...but if you want to use them you could try this patch, maybe - "RS Children Overhaul - Hair patch by RamsaySnow"?
AmethystLR Posted April 4, 2016 Author Posted April 4, 2016 Tried that patch, all that one seems to do is change the "play as a child" function to be able to use hairs in character creation. Doesn't actually touch npcs
Levionte Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 I've never tried it, but I don't see any reason why you couldn't change their hair in the CK and export the facegendata. You probably need to adjust the hair entries to include the child race. Alternatively, you could change the meshes manually in the face geometry folder, but it might be a pain to find them all.
